This machine worked right away out of the box and performance is good. We opened it up to add an additional 8 gb of ram and found the internal components to be very efficiently organized and optimal for keeping the laptop thin. Have not tested much for basic gaming yet, but some light games from Steam have worked fine. If you can get this on sale, it is a solid buy. Screen has good viewing angles and has been bright enough.

I’ve been looking for a 15.6 laptop without the number pad on the side of the keyboard and this is one of the few! Has the current gen I7 with 8gb of ram. The laptop uses 1-8gb ram stick and has an extra slot to add another. It also has an extra slot to add another ssd for more space if needed. The keyboard lights up very well and can be pretty bright in the dark! It’s also light compared to most 15.6 laptops at 3.53 lbs.. I tried another hp 15.6 and this is definitely lighter.. The screen is an anti glare screen which is perfect as I hate the glare from lights... It also has an Nvidia Mx330 which gives the graphics a boost.

Honestly, I haven’t had any issues with it since purchase. There’s nothing negative I can really say about it so I’d definitely recommend it! It’s good with creative programs and it runs smoothly and quickly! It’s very sleek and really convenient to move around as well! Still unsure if you can upgrade it to 64GB of ram or if there’s some additional storage. Love it overall!

Got a great deal on the i7 model after just missing out on the i5 model.. must have been meant to be. I love this laptop so far, I bought it to jump back into python and ML applications. Might want to look into expanding the memory down the line, but everything is amazing so far. Cheers to MSI, I was hesitant for months on a purchase!

pretty good computer over all. quick. light weight. battery life is ok. webcam drivers were missing when i first turned it on so the built in camera doesnt work.

I bought this to use for church and home use. Between the features that came with it, the speed and memory, plus the price, this was a great purchase. I have had a MAC for ten years and as much as I loved my Mac, I couldn’t justify paying for a computer that didn’t have the power or access to programs I needed. This has exceeded my expectations. It has quiet fans when cooling and is very fast with an i7 intel processor. I greatly recommend buying if you need power at a good price.

I bought this because I needed a better computer to run my CAD/CAM software for work and because my other computer was having issues. Excellent so far and very happy with this purchase! However I do wish I could've gotten one with a larger screen but since the one I wanted was out of stock and this one was on sale it was close enough so I knew it'd work. I am planning on hooking up a larger monitor for when I'm home doing my work there but I expect good things from this laptop.

I bought this computer for my wife and she loves it she needed a computer for college and for the price we couldn't find anything better but im glad we bought this one on sale and it has everything she needed great camera, fast, and i like the back-lit keyboard i doesn't come with ethernet port built-in but it comes with a separate adapter with a couple of extra usb ports

Pretty good laptop, only complaint was it felt a little easy to damage, so that was my reason for refunding.

Super lightweight and fast. I haven't tried it for complicated tasks yet, but it has been working nicely so far.

This has been a versatile, reasonably powerful, and portable laptop. Needing a dongle for quite a few ports is irritating, but not that uncommon these days. It compares well to some premium laptops (like Dell XPS) at a lower price point.

ehh - poor build quality will show if you move around with this thing. it feels pretty cheaply made especially coming from a mac book pro... i did want something cheap and relatively powerful for music production and use of something other heavy cpu using apps - but i would probably have just saved the 800 bucks and just spent the extra money for another mac (got this on sale...defintely would not pay the full 1000 for this) again if just using for basic use this will probably be fine... theres not many reviews of this thing online so hopefully this provides some help

Very simple and easy to use for anyone with no experience

It’s been about one year now, and the laptop is unusable. It just randomly freezes within 30 seconds - 10 minutes of using the laptop now, forcing me to hard restart.. over & over again. I can’t complete basic tasks anymore. Very sad.

My son chose it for me and when he saw it he was surprised at how good it was for the price it cost. I am very happy.
