This laptop is super speed fast when doing multi-tasks. I purchased this just for Genealogy, but it goes fast for other programs also. I really could do without the sound of the keyboard keys when you're typing, but you can get over it when you realize how sturdy they are. If you hold your hand too close to the touch pad, the mouse jumps and disappears. I also don't care for the touch pad when scrolling, it has to be 2 fingers down the middle, I prefer on the edge of the touch pad. The touch pad bars are sometimes hard to push as well, not sure if this is on purpose.

This is an awesome laptop with great specs. To date, this is the most I've spent on any computer. I've had MSI before and I like the brand. My other consideration was the Alienware m17. The Alienware looks better, by far, but it was also more expensive with similar specs. Assuming nothing goes wrong, this will be my main laptop for the next 5 to 6 years, like the last MSI I had. My only real complaint is the keyboard. It has a click when you press the keys. It reminds me of how the old keyboards used to be.
