Although MSI is not as well known as Lenovo, Dell, Hewlett Packard, Apple, Samsung, ASUS or Acer when it comes to speed and capacity MSI is head and shoulders better than the competition. It is the absolute best of the gaming capable computers. The value for the capabilities can't be beat. They make many of their own components so they are really compatible which makes this computer almost bullet-proof. I bought the GTX 1050 for my wife who is very technophobic because my MSI S6000 which is almost 10 years old is still going strong and is faster with a 1st Gen Intel i5 processor than most current i7 computers. The integrated solid state drive makes the boot up almost instantaneous.

I am rather disappointed in this laptop. I was very excited to start using this MSI model for game development, but sadly after about a year and a half of usage the keyboard keys "o", "1", and "space" stopped working. I have to use my work computer to type up this review. While, the laptop worked very well for the year and a half, I was optimistic that despite the keys stopped the MSI customer service could help me repair it. It is incredibly difficult to get in contact with MSI and when you do reach them over phone they are little help. I utilized the MSI forum where many other MSI users are having the same exact problem with no solutions from MSI. I will sadly not be seeking another MSI product in the future seeing as how poorly they treat software/hardware issues like this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MSI TO ANYONE! Just go with ASUS or DELL! You'll thank me. Spending >$1000 on a laptop to stop properly working after 1.5 years is not okay! Do yourself a favor and buy a proper Laptop.

This machine is probably way more than the person that had me find it needed but I know they won't be disappointed. Even with windows 10 as the OS I found it a joy to configure for my client! Just a beautiful machine.

Nice graphics. Good sound. Bigger than I expected it would be, and kind of heavy. But very nice.

This PC is really nice, fast and fun. Handles Overwatch easily and I have not encountered anything it couldn't handle yet.

Motherboard crapped out 1 month after 3 year warranty expired. I have found several reviews with the same issue, like it has a timer in it to blow the mother board at 37 months. Besides that it was a great laptop. Sucks that I have to sink a wad of money into it just a year after paying it off.

I am still learning some things, as always you can but so far I am very impressed with this laptop and would tell all my friends to check it out.

I run world of warships on very high graphics and this thing doesn't miss a beat.

I was looking for a metal cased computer and the case is plastic, nothing said the case was plastic, and I was under the understanding it had a light up keyboard, it does not, past that it is still a learning process.

I am very happy with tha brand, incredible notebook
