I’m a gamer and looked at many laptops before making a purchase, I settled with the MSi raider. Nothing else compared to the price or quality and I’m very happy with the laptop it arrived early and I haven’t given it a break since I received it. It has worked without a single problem for a few weeks. I highly recommend this to other traveling gamers for it will not let you down.

Item had dead pixel on start up. Best Buy was no help. Very disappointed that I didn't have a chance to use my so called new laptop.

Like all MSI products they deliver a quality machine and when gaming ( like having a Demi god with you! So yes it does perform the pros: The Graphic card, good memory, very responsive the SSD so very quick load up. The cons The windows Ten bloatware installed It is embedded!!! And some of the software installed by MSI and affiliate company ( well let me say read it really good or you will be offering every stroke of your computer to over 50 different places most out of country!!! Oh and this monster puts out some heat, and when you get it humming you will hear the fans doing its job.

Overall, I do like this laptop. The good: If you play anything like Second Life, via the Blackdragon or Firestom viewers, the graphics are awesome! The bad: My only complaint is the burning keys when I play ANY of my steam games. It got to the point where I had to buy a cooling rack for under it AND place a fan behind it while playing anything on steam. The performance thing was reading something like 85c. I can tell you the fans inside are noisy, have been since day one, and I sure feel air moving in and out from all of the vents so they are blowing.

Overall its a great computer. Had to debate about taking my external hard drive back because it might be too much space! At any rate screen is clear, graphice are fantastic and the speakers were amazing. Biggest disappointment for me was the battery life. Fully charged at 100% I only had 3 hrs of run time.

Awesome laptop. Super fast and great graphics. It runs all my current games and I expect it to play newer games for quite a while. Only warning: Uninstall the MSI Dragon performance monitoring software immediately. It was turning off the keyboard backlight every time the laptop booted up and was causing the laptop to freeze (black screen, unresponsive). I had to hard restart half a dozen times in the first week of owning the laptop by holding the power button until it shut off. I haven't had either of those problems in the last month since I removed the software.

Only problem was the steelseries3 software. Was not working. Went online and found I wasn't the only one with this issue. Did recommended fix and now is working. Otherwise MSI laptop work great from start and was easy to start and setup. Would recommend MSI laptop to anyone. PC will be mainly used for video editing home movies. With 17.3 screen and performance set on high battery doesn't last long about 2 hours, OK though will use mostly in house.

Power house. Everything i needed in a pc for gaming and digital art.

this is a great gaming laptop that is also well designed for graphics, work, and whatever else you need, it has fantastic features for keeping it cool no matter what you are doing, add to that the fantasy 16gb of ram.

This is my first MSI and it has not disappointed one bit. I do plan to upgrade the RAM at some point but i play Flight Simulator without any issues. I run my home Cybersecurity lab on it as well.

Overall good machine. The mouse pad has annoyingly old school laptop feel, but if you use a mouse who cares. Taking into account the graphics and ample storage, a good deal!

Even though the fans are loud this thing performs and I play escape from tarkov and it handles it with no problem, no issues so far, it looks nice

Great laptop. Fastest I've owned. Bought to be able to run cadd for work. But frankly this does it all. Good battery life. And at this price point you really can't beat it. All the bells and whistles.

Laptop works great. Have started to put it through its paces and it is working like a champ as expected.

Great upgrade from an older model of this laptop. This version is speedy and stable, and is ready to upgrade to Windows 11 when it releases. (Whether I'm ready for WXI is another question...)
