Excellent gaming laptop, comes with RTX 3080 16 GB of VRAM, yes you heard it right 16GB not 8. And this is GS66254 model. MSI website listed as 8GB which is wrong. I have attached GPUZ data of GPU, windows also reports 16GB of VRAM and box it came with. Cons: Not very happy with CPU, feels like its bottlenaking a bit and runs hot @ 95C. I wish they installed better processor at least like 3k model. I wish its QHD not FHD. Anyways with current prices - can't complain. FYI for miners: 43-45MH on Dagger - OOB

I finally upgraded my gaming computer from 2016. I use my computer for both professional and personal settings, the minimal design works great for me. So far everything has been fast and smooth. Lighter than my previous setup and surprisingly thin. It comes with the 16Gb video card like everyone has said. I don’t have crazy oily hands but this thing holds more fingerprints than a crime scene.

One of the nicest, sleekest, all-around-excellent laptops whether for gaming or for workstation type performance. I know these are still hard to come by because everyone is trying to buy a 3080 laptop but if you get a chance snag this one up. Even though the price is a bit too steep (at 2900), in my opinion, its all worth it. I mean you have a 3080 graphic card inside and 32gb of ram along with a TB of space, that spells out BEAST. Bottom line - play any and every game, new or old, at maximum settings with no issues whatsoever.

The laptop is too noisy. Some bugs and glitches were present. In two months keyboard buttons are not working. Couse laptop is very hot during performance gaming mode.

I just received this laptop and I was literally blown away! It actually came with the 16GB 3080 (I was expecting the 8GB version)! The screen is beautiful and fast! I would of liked to see a 1440p version but I also prefer smoother performance over resolution. This baby has handled everything I have thrown at it with ease. There are some bloatware that came with it but was able to uninstall without an issue. I have not tested the battery completely so still up in the air but the keyboard feels great. The sleek stealth design is great as I am not a fan of the fully RGB model. Wireless on this thing is awesome!! Easily get about 25 Mbps downloads, have not tried the RJ45 port. It has two m.2 slots so I added a 2TB drive with ease. Highly recommend this!

Thinnest and lightest gaming laptop on the market with a 3080! Perfect for gaming without the gaudy look of many gaming laptops on the market today! Per key RGB, 32GB Ram, and 300Mhz! Can’t beat this for the price!

Build quality seems great except for the big plastic piece on the front. A bit sharp around the edges. Nice styling. My biggest issue with this machine was the noise. It does get quite loud even in its quieter fan mode.

Great gaming laptop. Plays AAA title games well. CPU gets a bit hot but that's to be expected with a Laptop like this. I wish they offered it with a better CPU at the time i purchased. The 10750H is a bit lacking at times.

I was really excited about this laptop. Since I can't get an RTX 3090 for my desktop, I figured I would try an RTX 3080 laptop. I thought the specs were great for a laptop. I was happy it came with the 16gb 3080. I loved the looks and size of the laptop. I don't think the pictures online do it justice. Unfortunately, things took a turn once I powered it on. The fan kept pulsing really loudly, even when idling. Second, the Bluetooth didn't work. First, I tried contacting customer service with the online chat feature. It kept connecting to an agent but no one would respond. After 4 or 5 times, I finally got a hold of someone. They recommended a Windows restore. I then tried phone support. They had me try a few other things including doing a complete restore to as shipped configuration. Nothing worked. After approximately 1.5 hours, they came to the conclusion the laptop was defective and should be exchanged. Since this model is not stocked near me, I exchanged for another brand which worked with no issues.

Excellent laptop with some flaws. Some of the pros are the build quality, and the trackpad is absolutely beautiful. It has a 3080 what more can you say?. I compared it head to head with an Alienware R4 with a 3070 15'' and on benchmarks with the new hitman, this MSI was losing by 20 to 25 FPS. Basically, if your a gamer and are after FPS, do not choose this. The second con is the price is too high period. The last con is, and I don't know if this should be a con, but the trackpad had some sensitivity issues. I would use it, and randomly the mouse cursor would stop moving. This could have just been a flaw with the unit, and yes, I did adjust the touchpad settings. Overall ok product, but I had to return it for the above major flaws.

I really liked this computer until it got to be too hot to use. It is fast, with excellent sound and graphics capability, the only problem was that the case got to the point where it was giving first/second degree burns if I rested any part of my body against it for any length of time. It is a great system, but as the summer approaches, I do not need another furnace in my house. I can appreciate that a laptop can get a little on the warm side, but watch yourself and your property with this one. I returned it for the fire risk.

Super fast, great screen and fairly quiet for a gaming laptop. Plays everything I've thrown at it with all setting set to high.

Extremely expensive, but to be on the cutting edge that's a requirement. Purchased to have a way to game when away from home. When paired with a wired mouse this will make a great mobile gaming station. I'm also looking into using it as a main gaming machine and using my desktop as a streaming setup. Extremely happy with the performance and feedback of the screen and keyboard.

It is fast and worth the price! I bought this for my design software and it is great, no claims at all.
