Almost perfect 1080 device

Slim build with blazing fast performance. The metal body gives a solid feel and the keys look gorgeous for use in dark environments. Can get quite hot when full throttle. Games are flawless looking and encoding video is a breeze. If I could change one thing I would move or add 1 USB port to the right side for convenience as both USB3-A ports currently sit on the left with only a USB-C port on the right that I would’ve preferred on the left.
If your content with 1080 viewing this laptop is a top choice.

I’ve had this laptop for a couple years now. Great purchase! Performs better than my husbands desktop!

This laptop is everything I expected it to be. No one enjoys setting up a new computer to the way they like it. With that said, this one made it easier than I have ever experienced. The defaults were already where I would have set them. Yes, I had to wait for downloads, but once they arrived they were processed quickly. I can play my games at maximum settings for everything because of the RTX-3070 and 32 gb RAM, well, that's just icing on the cake.

This slaps. Handles any modern game on highest setting and any creation software with seemless speed. Future proof with 8gb 3070 GPU, thunderbolt to add external graphics and the versitile i9 processor. The perfect laptop extremely portable and light.
The only negative I'd say is this gets pretty hot with intense games. A cooling solves that easily, but gaming with it on your bare lap gets spicy.
All in all a top teir monster in 2022!

I really like this computer, my only complaint is that when playing High Demand games, you have to have it plugged in to function properly. Also, it sounds like a vaccum cleaner when using voice calls during gaming, without a headset.

Great gaming laptop for the price. Fan is LOUD, but that's to be expected running a RTX 3070. Love the simple understated design of the all black chassis. If you load Win 11, be sure to get the drivers you need at the MSI website or you may have issues.

This is a review of my last 2 MSI laptops. I have no idea what the tech specs are but bought the lastest and most expensive version of these machines each with 32GB ram and both with processors which were TOL at the time of purchase. Both would sometimes run very warm - and no I'm too old to "game" just want power. My problem is that the paint comes off the keys. First one 4 years ago paint started coming off after 5 months. First one was replaced by Best Buy when 8 keys had lost paint. I spent lots more to upgrade to the one I'm using now. My current one is less than 2 years old and paint is off space bar and "s". I have my original IBM Thinkpad from the early 90's and it still has all the paint on the keys. Also have 2 older Dells and Toshiba laptops and keyboards on them are just fine. I'm looking for a new laptop but it won't be an MSI for sure.

This is the first laptop I’ve ever bought, decided to go with this model based on recommendations and research. Im glad I did, this thing is awesome. So far I primarily use it to play Warzone and it runs great. Battery life is an issue, but I’m usually plugged in so it’s not a big deal for me. Excited to see what else this fine piece of equipment has to offer.

It has exceptional performance, If you are going to move it a little from one place, it is fine, but if you have to open and close it very often, I recommend that you look for better hinges.

I've been using an older HP laptop for too many years. This one was my retirement gift to myself. I didn't know I liked me that much! It is fast, quiet, lighter than I'm used to, and runs everything I throw at it without any problems. Hellblade runs smoothly and beautifully. Math programs, CAD, office apps, Visual Studio, etc. I am very pleased.

This is an amazing computer! I feel lucky to have found it before it was sold out. It has a clear picture, loud speakers, plenty of ram, and a graphics card that is in super high demand because of it's ability to run top of the line games at ultra settings. Couple that with the i9 processor and this laptop leaves me wanting for nothing.

Its a great laptop with solid build quality and excellent performance. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a display port, so I couldn't use it with my Oculus Rift S, so ended up returning it.

I have had this a little over a year. I am in hotels about 3/4 or more of the year. This laptop, though large fits well in my large backpack and travels well. I use mine for gaming and work and it runs any game I throw at it on the maximum settings. No stuttering what so ever. Obviously the battery life it not all that great because this laptop is doing a lot of work but it is a little better than I expected. The plugin cord is still doing great along with the port it plugs into even though it is constantly unplugged and replugged as I move from hotel to hotel. The configuration on the lights on the keyboard still works and all the lights still work. This laptop is a rockstar!

This is by far the best laptop, I have ever owned. It was way more expensive, than the laptops, I have bought before. I wanted a fast response laptop. I was tired of a slow processing one. This MSI laptop is everything I wanted. Money well spent. I did buy a cooling pad, due to it running hotter than I am use to.

I have been using the laptop for a week or two and the experience has been great so far. The laptop been able to handle everything I've thrown at it with little to no issues. The only problem I have with it so far is that it can get hot and quite loud when you're running it on it's max settings.

This machine is plenty powerful on paper. But it has overheating issues. Fans are constantly whirring away and the CPU still thermal throttles. I also had issues with the refresh rate not syncing properly in games and causing an annoying stuttering effect. Nothing I tried was able to get rid of this. That kind of thing should not happen on a $2000 laptop. The experience should be buttery smooth.
Overall do not recommend. If you're going to use it just as a computer it will be fine. The build quality is nice and the screen is huge. But even then the fan noise will get annoying. Do not use this laptop as a gaming machine unless you like constant stuttering.

Is fast, has some good clickity clackity keyboard, plays Genshin Impact well, pretty light for its size and Paimon loves it. Would recommend it for Genshin players and other players of different games as well
