Excellent performing laptop, and surprisingly light for the components I ordered. Minor downside of no DVD/Blueray, but easy enough to pick up an external one. It will get warm with heavy gaming use. The biggest downside is that it only came with Windows 10 Home. For the price, it should be the Pro versions.

Awesome but heavy gaming laptop. Wish it could have worked out for me. The GPU graphics card only has one output via the hdmi. There is a display port, type C 1.4 that can be used but it has no direct connection to the graphic card. Therfore, my HP Reverb Gen 2 can not connect to this unit. Bummer. MSI tech support claims that it would connect via the Hdmi output and a display port adapter, but on line reviews tell a different story. I gave up after going through multiple adapters. I had to return this unit as it was incompatible with my VR headset. I would have been nice to know information before hand.

great laptop - great for work, gaming, and school!

GS76 17.3" FHD 360hz Gaming Laptop - Intel Core i9 - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 - 1TB SSD - 32GB Memory Well packaged and included large screen cloth with MSI logo. Out of the box: light weight and well balanced with solid base build. Nice responsive full keyboard. Clear screen with no light bleed but lid was a bit more flexible than i would like. Would definitely close from top center. Setup: Quick and easy except two minor issues. MSI Center would not update itself and would only download a few of the apps. Had to manually download and reinstall from app store. The battery would only charge to 91%. Used battery recalibration under MSI Center /Features /System Diagnosis to fix the issue. Installed my games and programs with no problem and they run brilliantly. I like MSI Center and look forward to utilizing the myriad of apps to control laptop systems and improve functionality. All the pro reviews I read that helped me decide on this were spot on. MSI is now my go to brand. Desktop replacements have come a long way since my first generation XPS. This one is definitely a winner.

I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I'm a designer mostly that works with most all adobe tools, but occasionally like to play a game or two. It's not overly flashy, so it's great for when I use it with clients, and stays pretty quiet. My only concern was that the CPU tends to run a little hot, generally when I am working on larger files it is between 85-95 C when the maximum fan speed feature is turned off. I turn it off because turbo tends to be a bit loud when meeting clients. I don't mind turning it on for gaming though. Might be fixed with some heat throttling. Overall great product, it's booted my workflow pretty significantly. So 4 stars for me

When my 15.6 inch laptop began to die searched for a great buy and the MSI had everything I wanted at my price point. My only concern was how can this thin laptop deal with the heat. So far I run my favorite at high settings and it only got a little warm. Even better, the 17inch MSI is actually smaller than my 15.6 Alienware. This is a great deal when you look at the competition and compare the 1G SSD, 32GD memory and Intel Core i9.

I returned it for the QHD 240Hz screen with all other specs the same. If you need the 360 Hz refresh rate for gaming, then this is the unit for you. Otherwise the QHD screen is brighter and better and still games well. Read my review of the QHD model.

This laptop is fast, powerful, and smooth. Can basically run anything I put my mind to it, Runs AAA games smoother than anything I've ever used. runs Raytracing like a dream.

This is the best MSI gaming laptop I ever bought. I recommend this laptop and make sure you get your insurance to cover it just in case or is problems with it in the future that will happen to me I have bought one of these a year and a half ago and it messed up the part on the keyboard and how many problems with the actual laptop. Insurance I got with it covered for a new one.

Best Laptop I have ever purchased. It is fast, stunning graphics and super lightweight.

Heavy and didn't fit in my backpack, but did everything we needed it to do. Super annoying that the MSI and xbox apps will not stay unpinned from the taskbar. The exterior design is realatively restrained for a gaming laptop so it looks pretty sharp.

I was planning on purchasing an alienware laptop because it’s very nice looking but after encountering this one i changed my mind. I’m not an expert on this but it turns out some specs here are more valuable than others i’ve seen in the market. Runs Minecraft extremely well

Runs a lot of game well, but bottom of the screen now has lines going through it. I've owned it for less than a year and it started happening.
