I upgraded from a gigabyte b450 board to this msi board and I have been very impressed with how easy the upgrade was and how easy it is to navigate the bios on this board over that of my previous gigabyte board. This review is for the MSI Review Rebate Program.

I am pretty happy with the build. No complaints. I bought this specifically because of the three GPU slots.

First off, this review is for the MSI Review Rebate Program. A review is required to receive a rebate on the products listed above... But forget that because I'd post this anyway. This board rocks. Looks fantastic and has the feature set to match. But the reason I went with this board over the competition is because MSI is the only board manufacturer I am aware of that put the chipset fan BELOW where the video card sits. This way it actually can pull in cool air and run at lower speeds (or even off at idle). ASUS, ASRock and Gigabyte have all mounted the chipset fan so that the graphics card will completely cover the intake. Brilliant... So their cards will exhaust hot air directly into the chipset fan. hope you love fan whine if you got one of those boards. Also the MSI ACE board has a heatpipe that goes all the way from the VRM down to the M.2 slots and the chipset. This thing runs ice cold & quiet. Just how I like it.

This review is for the MSI Review Rebate Program. A review is required to receive a rebate on the products listed above. The MSI x570 ace is what you expect from this price range of ~$350-380. This is the price range where it is basically based on looks and not performance because they are all comparable. The other two in this price range is the gigabyte master and the asus strix. The vrms on this board use doublers, so that might affect overclocking if that matters. The only issue is that this board only has 4 sata and 7 usb ports. The others have 2 (gigabyte) and 4 (asus) more usb ports. I personally would not recommend this board to anyone that doesn’t enjoy the look of the board as the other two boards would be much better than in these aspects. The thing with this board at launch was a silent fan, but the competitors now have a silent fan setting as well. Currently because they are running a promo for a $50 rebate it brings the price down to 310 which is $40 less than the gigabyte master board. Also, I have a few corsair fans and it integrates directly in the motherboard instead of using a lighting hub. So, if you own some corsair fans it might benefit you by getting rid of one cable/box. Overall, currently at a price of 310 it would be a good deal. If you’re paying retail price for this board you might want to consider the competitors because they have more features than this board. If you have corsair fans, maybe, but again it really only gets rid of one cable/box.
