I have had good luck with MSI as a brand, so I went with their Stealth 16 AI laptop. I installed all my apps and customized everything. It seemed fast and looked great. I had a dock for it so that I could use it like a desktop at home. It did get loud when loading up games that used the RTX 4070, but it wasn't too bad. My problem was when I noticed the screen had a dead pixel. I wouldn't have noticed it if it hadn't rebooted and shown against the black. $2500 for a dead pixel doesn't work. I purchased it from Amazon and asked them for a swap. They refused, so I just returned it. My experience repeated when I purchased the same model from Best Buy at a discounted price of $2210. Again, it also had a dead pixel in a similar spot. The prospect of waiting two weeks for a replacement was inconvenient, so I opted for a return. I love the specs, but I fear MSI had a bad first run. I won't buy one without going into the store and having them open it up first to verify there are no dead pixels.

Just got this a few days ago. Pretty nice build quality. The color reminds me of the Asus laptops from 2010s its a nice blue. However I believe these Stealth laptop's do not charge through the thunderbolt 4 port if using a thunderbolt dock. I have the Razer Thunderbolt 4 dock that works well with my dell XPS 15 and it does charge it just as expected. However when I plug in the MSI Stealth 16 it did take a while for it to recognize it and install the nessesary drivers. All the data and transfer features of the dock do work well it just does not charge through the same port. After some research it does appear as though this is common and seems to be related to the power draw nessesary when using these kind of computers which power hungry graphics cards. There is a well written Reddit post on this that explains it very well. Some people have reached out MSI and have tickets open however I feel as though MSI should have this noted in the description since it seems to be set like this from the factory instead on having people think their models are deflective. For me it isn't the biggest deal although that would have been nice, maybe even if you just use the onboard graphics then it works that would have been a good compromise. I do understand the idea behind it since it does probably draw much more than 100w especially if using it heavily. I dont mind have the charger and thunderbolt cables at least its just two. Also something I have never seen is they include two chargers! Its nice but they dont say why and dont say anything about that anywhere. Other than that the computer is great I hope it lasts a while!

I have only had this item for a few weeks now, but it is definitely meeting or exceeding all my expectations.
