Customers are saying

Customers value the SUPER VENTUS OC NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card's high performance, excellent frame rates, and impressive graphics capabilities, particularly in games and VR applications. However, some customers express concerns regarding the card's cooling system, noise levels under heavy load, and its price point relative to performance. While many appreciate the ray tracing features and high resolutions supported, the size of the card and potential for coil whine are also noted drawbacks. Overall, opinions are mixed, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses.

This has made gaming so much better. Clear with more detail in surrounding. With ray tracing reflections off objects are realistic. Made older games I like to play look remastered. I run my gbu in a graphic amplifier and it hasn't overheated running a hard as I have pushed it.

Solid card, but not what I hoped for

This card is definitely up to the task of playing most games at very high settings. But to be honest, I was a little underwhelmed after paying over $700 for it. My biggest complaints are the heat and overclocking capabilities. I had an AMD before this and decided to switch to Nvidia because they're known for running cooler. But this one actually runs hotter. And for overclocking, I've only been able to push this +65 mhz using the MSI Afterburner oc scanner tool. In all fairness though, I'm a noob and don't know much about overclocking. Either way, this card is powerful but it didn't fill my checklist of expectations. If I hadn't already sold my AMD card I'd probably return this one and hold out for something more impressive.

This graphics card performance incredibly. The cooling system that MSI created for it could be improved, but my results when overclocking surpassed my expectations.

Running this on an old 2012 HP Pavilion and yes it fits but barely. My bench mark on gaming is in the 90's on this old system. This is a beast of a graphics card right now and in my new system it will be better. If you are building a PC almost half the cost will be your graphics card. So don't get sticker shock at the price. In the system I am building I will come out at price or just a little cheaper than a pre built, but I will know every component in it. Also if you are wondering I did about 3 to 4 months research before deciding on this graphics card.

This card was alright for the first few days, solid performance and fps in all games played. Without me overclocking or pushing this card very hard though, it began to overheat and become very noisy from the fans trying to keep up cooling it. My case has good airflow and circulation and never experienced this with before or after replacing the card. Returned it for another card, kudos to Best Buy for making the return quick and easy.

This card is a beast, but it's nice and quiet beast. No detectable noise from the fans, and it works as expected.

Went from 2070 to 2080 Super What a difference crystal clear once the dragon software was loaded with some light tweaks and wow!!!!!!. I know hardcore gamer are waiting for Big Navi or the 3080TI but I’m sorry 2000-2500 for a graphics card. The 2080 TI ranges from 1200-1500. This 2080 Super option worked for me, The 3080TI will undergo extreme benchmarking for the first few month and these cards are huge. I’m 1000000 percent happy no issues. Enjoy!!!

Card itself has been flawless for me. Will do 120+fps depending on your setup and the game. The only bad thing I have to say about it, thus the 3 star review is the fact you cant find a reputable company that sells waterblock for it and at the price point I'm not pleased. No it doesn't run extremely hot to the point its needed, but if you want a custom loop this gpu is not for you. Overall it's a great card.

This is a good Gpu that gets the job done. But there's two minor things I would warn you about. It says it's a 2 slot GPU which it is but isn't. The fans on it stick out just enough to make me take out the capture card I had in the pcie slot underneath. So if you got nothing underneath it you'll be good. The other thing is it does get some decent coil whine. But overall a good card for gaming.

Excellent 2080 for the price and the build quality is excellent. I have a great computer case that really keeps the parts cool and the card cool. I would recommend a case large enough to accommodate the card. The case I had originally would not house it and I upgraded to a mid-ATX and it was perfect. so far I play every game on max settings and it looks and performs stunningly. I use this with a DP cable and a 144hz Panel.

The 2080 Super has been quite super, so far. The unit easily reaches 240 FPS in 1080p gaming, AND helps render my art faster for work. Based on my experience, it doesn't get too hot, and isn't loud at all when the fans kick it into overdrive. My only gripe about this product is that it didn't come with a case badge to display my pride for this awesome unit. No big deal though, would highly recommend.

First gaming PC build, and was told the rule of thumb is devote about 50% of the budget to the GPU. I was lucky to score this gpu with a copy of Rainbow Six: Siege (my daily game). This gpu destroys Siege, paired with the Ryzen 7 3700x I hang out above 200FPS at max settings and it stays cool. GPU sags a bit, but that seems to be an issue with all current big gpus.

This card is great for people who want to get as close to 2080 TI performance for almost half the price. The O.C. On the card is already good but with MSI afterburner you can crank the clock higher and push more power out. I use mine in a Razer Core X Chroma and it fits perfect and stays cool.

I sustain 2025mhz on the core and 9000mhz or effectively 18gbs with no crashes or artifacting! On the memory. Amazing price for this performance I paired it with a 3700x and run 1080p 144hz I know it’s over kill but I love it that much more because of it lol.

Swapped out a gigabyte windforce 1080 for this. Definitely seems like a higher quality product than my previous gigabyte, though there’s nothing that would stop me from buying a gigabyte again. The build quality is better, and it doesn’t whine like my 1080 did
