    This was a great television series I couldn't find anywhere else. Brilliant comedy and talented actors.

    Murphy Brown was one of my favourite sit-coms as a child - it was funny even when I didn't completely know anything about the world of news anchors and politics. These days this would be compared to a sit-com about a show like Nightline. Candice Bergen makes for an excellent news anchor and Diane English is one of the best writers out there. The cast was very well put together, and the episode topics, often torn from the headlines, were not only informative, historically accurate, but hilariously funny! Too bad they only have Season 1 available on DVDs, because the tv world could use a reminder of what a great sitcom looks like.
