This is my first "hybrid" computer, and I thought going in that it would be the best of best worlds. Boot up time is amazingly fast! BUT!!!! Something I was not aware of and have found out too late, is that Microsoft and many other software companies are taking away the ability to assign your "save to" disk. This computer has only 128 GB in SSI memory, which is the C drive, and without being able to assign Office 365 and some other programs to save where I wanted, this drive gets eaten up very quickly. I tried to have more memory installed, but you can't on this model! I had to wipe the computer clean and start over, once I realized what was going on. SO FAR, with much diligence, have been able to keep the C drive from filling up completely, but it's a pain... I would definitely get one with bigger SS memory next time.... However the performance has been great, and no complaints there at all...

Great rig! Storage is good and the i7 with a gtx 960 (4g) gives it plenty muscle for on the road office work and gaming with the kids! No complaints. Bought a external dvd drive that only needs on one usb port so the lack of a dvd drive is no biggy. Two Thumbs Way Up!

We bought this laptop for our daughter who is a junior in high school to get a jump on the college items. We did all of our research for everything that would be needed to fit the degree she would be seeking to help her out the best. After our research, there were VERY few laptops to choose from which had all of the requirements we were wanting the laptop to have. She is wanting to pursue a degree in teaching and minor in art, so we also purchased (from a different location), a drawing pad. These items together work wonderfully and we couldn't ask for a better fit for our daughter and look forward to her endeavors. The laptop itself..... Speed is top notch and we live in a rural area, the graphics are unbelievable, the processor is faster than my desktop at work. Only 8gb memory, but has the ability to be upgraded at any time.

I purchase the computer online without physically observing the laptop from the store since it was not provided on the sales floor. Once I purchase the Item I thought I made a huge mistake, but despite of waiting for a week to receive the laptop. The laptop is more than I expected and truly beautiful than the ones on BestBuy sales floor. I have had it over 2 months already and no problems yet, fastest laptop I have gotten from boot up to internet and videos to video games and much more. DONT THINK TWICE BUY IT NOW RECOMMENDED

This laptop is a great little machine. Plenty of space, and plenty of speed thanks to the SSD. The 960M has been great with all the games I have tried till now. The only thing I thought that was missing was 16GB Ram, but that is easily remedied. You get another 8GB RAM from bestbuy for $30. Add that to the 8GB existing RAM, and that just completes the laptop's specs nicely. Cons - 1. Average looks 2. The sound drivers aint that great, there isnt stereo mix and the mic lacks enhancements.

I chose to buy this laptop after about 3 weeks of research and going back and forth but I'm happy I decided to get this one! I use it for college but I also play games and it can run games like Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 and Warframe on high without dropped frames. The fans while not on high performance are very quiet and it's very light weight compared to "gaming" laptops so you don't have to worry about breaking your back. I'm not a big fan of the red details and wished it came in more color options but that is a minor gripe. It has great battery life when used on power saver at school and can easily last me from 8:00am when I leave to around 5:00pm when I get home when turned off between uses. I would recommend this laptop if you're a gamer and want the performance without breaking the bank our your back but not if you ONLY want to use it for work or school. It's a bit too pricey for that.

This is probably the best value gaming laptop you can get. Sufficient for most games are good to high settings. One of the easiest laptop to upgrade with only a single screw holding the bottom panel and easy access to memory, hdd and M.2 ssd. I wish it was a bit lighter than it is but for the price, you can't go wrong.

Needed a quick, good replacement for a dead Acer laptop. This Dell is super fast with the built in SSD and runs every high end video game out there with its powerful graphics chip. The backlit keyboard makes it easy to work at night. I am extremely impressed with this laptop and would recommend to those currently shopping for one. My only complaint if I had one is that the SSD is too small. I would have sacrificed the second HDD for a larger SSD.

I got this Laptop on sale during their Black Friday in July event for ~850 and I couldn't be happier. This computer is so fast and performs well. I'm an armature photographer/youtuber and have used it to run photoshop, video editing softwear, uploading, etc and having such a great graphics card has made it a great experience. I thought only having 8gb of ram was going to suck but it ended up being okay. They do not have this model as a display in stores so if you are interesting in purchasing check out the HP omen, very very similar looks and systems.

This laptop can almost do it all. It will play most games on high or even ultra at about 50-60fps. Even Video editing with this bad boy is a breeze. I love the versatility. It's also super quiet and doesn't overheat. There's no bloat ware so you don't have to worry. I'm thinking about buying another one.

I bought this Dell Inspiron 15 laptop because it was time to update from Windows XP, I wanted a PC laptop that would be fast, have lots of memory, and most importantly be easy to use. This fits all of my criteria. This PC is a huge step forward from windows XP.

Not excellent but good. As with most things, if you take care of it (antivirus, antimalware, make restore points) it will take care of you. Got it for work and travel and it didn't let me down.

This computer has worked well for what I need it for....Internet, Microsoft office and pictures.

This laptop was as great if not better than all the reviews I read about it. The audio isn't the greatest, but I mostly used headphones so it doesn't bother me. Another great product by Dell.

The laptop matched my expectations to be used for work in the office, at home, and on the way. Very fast, quiet, and with comparatively long battery life, accounting its weight. Plan to install Ubuntu instead of Win10

I purchased this particular laptop because it was a Dell product, but especially for the Graphics processor, which i need to do 3-D graphics. Everything else is a plus. Product was aptly described and is very quick to boot up. Especially useful to have a dedicated SSD drive for boot purposes and for files and apps i need quick response to. Everything else has plenty of room on the hard drive. Recommended for its quality and functionality.

We purchased this laptop primarily for gaming and videos/photos - we have not been disappointed.

Can't recommend this laptop enough. 3 years later and this thing still runs like a top.
