The Super Kindle (in Color)!

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my review of the new Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, Amazon's newest and largest (at 11 inches) Kindle e-reader. The Scribe Colorsoft is not a tablet in the average sense, like a Fire, Samsung Tab or an Apple iPad even though it resembles them in general appearance. The Colorsoft is a device that uses a front lit Kaleido 3 color e-paper display. Since the tech behind the screen is different, the colors the Scribe produces are not as vivid or vibrant as the traditional tablet, but for someone wanting or needing a device that is easier to read for longer sessions causing less eyestrain, the Scribe Colorsoft is ideal. As well as reading, the Scribe Colorsoft is also a writing device. It comes with the Scribe Premium Pen and five extra pen nibs included. The pen does not need to be charged since it operates elecromagnetically with the device screen. The pen and screen combintion, with its anti-glare coating, produce a more satisfying writing feel than an iPad or similar tablet. As this is the 3rd generation Scribe the note taking capabilities have improved immensely. Folder managment has also been improved over the original Scribe. AI features of the Scribe include converting handwriting to text in several different styles and also summarizing either a notebook page or an entire notebook. These features work very well and are fairly quick. Another highly useful feature is word search in your handwritten notes. Hand writing recognition is very accurate. More AI features are slated to be added in future updates. I am giving the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft my highest recommendation since I believe it is the best implementation of the Kaleido color e-ink technology to be found at this time.

It’s productive for both taking notes and reading books. The Workspace allows me to organize all my documents and notebooks as Kindle always prioritize reading over notetaking. I hope there will be more notetaking features coming out soon.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased a remarkable scribe first and it was a miserable thing to set up and once set up, it was miserable for My Wife to use as there was constant constant ghosting on every page she constantly had to reset the screen constantly had to do things to get the screen to clear just to view her images after purchasing this Kindal color soft scribe. It absolutely works flawlessly and is amazing.
