This movie started out a little boring but it had a twist and surprise ending. Great cast.

Side Effects is another fantastic film from Steven Soderbergh. It's no wonder he attracts such a master class of talent to every movie he makes because they are all powerful character and story-driven works. With a gripping story and great performances across the board (particularly from Rooney Mara and Channing Tatum), this is another fine film. Moreover, no one of his films is like the last and that's a real testament to his directorial skills. He claims he is going into retirement and that this is his last work - that would be truly sad for all of us because he will be sorely missed.

A film that delves deep into the world of mental illness and the various drugs that are used to treat it. An interesting look at the business behind pharmaceuticals and the fine lines the judicial system walks when it comes to mental illness. Interesting twist at the end of the story.

They did an excellent job til the very end in what was going on. Never expected the wife to play crazy and to have a woman as her lover. Jude Law wife in the movie didn't like her character. She was a whiner. He is busy working hard trying to figuer this out and all she could do is think about herself. I truly enjoyed this movie.

I wasn't sure what this movie was about initially but it definitely spiked interest after the first death scene. There were several plot twists that were unexpected or just seemed unnatural. Good flick!

Just when you think you have it figured out, it turns out to be something different. Then when you have that figured out, it's even different than that. Easy to follow but keeps you on your toes.

This is an entertaining movie. It makes you think twice about the prescription your doctor or shrink suggests you take OR if you even need to take any at all. Of course, if you're like me, movies are purely for entertainment purposes only. GREAT movie.

the movie started out with a lady going to see her husband in jail showing she is happy to see him it could have more detail as to how things happened instead of the middle of the movie

If this is Steven Soderbergh's swan song, he went out on a high note. While not as good as many of his previous films, Side Effects has great acting, directing, and plenty of twists. I really enjoyed this film and highly recommend it.

This movie definitely wasn't what I expected. Just when you think you have the plot figured out, new twists are thrown in. It really makes you think about the ethical practices out in this field. Very interesting movie!

I've been searching for this film since I saw the first preview - haven't had any luck locating it. I was extremely grateful to see it online through Best Buy.

This is a very well written movie & is really worth watching. I was expecting it to be a chick flick but was happily wrong.

Great movie for rainy days. Slow rythm but the end wasn't predictible.

Good movie, loved the plot. It just goes to show that karma can come back to get you. Plus it has Ms. Jones in it.

Bought this because it was on sale, but hadn't seen it yet. Watched it on netflix and decided to return this. It's a good movie to watch once...good intrigue. Don't see ourselves watching it again. If you like the move, go ahead and get this because the actual product is as expected.

You know a film is usually good when there are one or two big named stars, this is above!
