- Best and most realistic looking basketball game on the market (there are only 2 to choose from)
- Too many preset animations (most look great but can severely limit player control and immersion)
- Fun gameplay
- Fun game modes and features
- 25 playable Euro teams
- Cheesy MyCareer storyline (it's not too long; mode gets better once "movie" is completed)
- Legacy bugs (same/similar issues from past NBA2K games)
- Online players CHEAT! (google: lag switch)
- Somewhat steep learning curve (even seasoned veterans may suffer)
- Overall 3.5

I keep hearing a lot of bad things about how Spike Lee messed up to 2k MyCareer mode, but I don't agree with those people the story mode was actually more involved and thought out wasn't just random scenes put together that pretend to create a story but it actually kind of made you feel attached to the characters in a more unique kind of way for it to be 2k. At the end of day it is still just a video game and it's not the greatest thing having a storyline in a sports game which is what most truly care about is playing the basketball not watching cut scenes and yes most people are going to skip them to rush through but I say don't give the storyline a chance its not that long 2-3 hours tops you'll be done with the main story mode and you'll be in your second season of your career and then you'll get to play every single game no more cut scences. I personally enjoyed it and I feel everyone should try to give it a chance. All days in my career mode are more interactive giving you more options to practice or do endorsements hang out with fans the other teammates not sure of this was in 2k15 but I know it wasn't in 2k14. Over all the rest of the game is what you would always expect from a 2k just good old fashioned basketball slightly better graphics in the previous year what are the different menu setup still getting a little tired of the microtransactions but I guess every companies try to find new ways to make more money not a big fan of how they cap created players now limiting the ability to max every attribute, (6 or 7 total). You're given about 56 possible upgrades from the moment you create your character but there are 90 total upgrade that can be made so choose wisely there is no way to make all attributes fully upgraded you just don't have enough upgrades available and so far with me being in this middle of my second year I haven't found a way to max them all out. It's very interesting that you have to go to the main menu to actually put tattoos on your character even though you purchase the tattoos from inside my career mode but overall still a great game but can always get better 4/5.

Graphics and controls are awesome. The mode to manage a team and relocate, design etc amazing. Only downfall in my opinion is being able to scan multiple faces for created players. You're limited to you myPlayer for a face scan. I wanted to scan all my friends and play each other at my house... guess not! Would still recommend this for a purchase.

My son is more of a football fan but he absolutely loves this game! The graphics are top notch with some fun interaction things built in for career mode as you advance from high school to being recruited for college, playing a college career and then drafted to the NBA. It has both old and knew rosters of all teams!

If you like to control a franchise like me then this game is for you, 80 seasons!! Talk about building up a team! Graphics are great, controls are smooth, and content is well established. I have yet to try the online portion but there is a lot to choose from. If you are a fan of basketball then check this game out.

NBA 2K16 is greatly improved over last years integration from a gameplay standpoint alone. A lot of the cheap tactics that were over the years that have been used by some to gain an competitive advantage have been mostly nullified. The character models have been improved and are as life like as ever before. The sound track is pretty decent and there are a slew of game modes to keep you entertained.

This game is great the player look real, and it a great upgrade from nba2k16 for xbox 360. THis blow that one out of the water. IT not even the same features, and game modes. I tell people not to buy the 360 version unless you like wasting money. This one has a few bug but it still great to play and fun, gm mode, my player and creating own draft class of my own homies are always fun to do

The graphics are awesome. The game play is an A. Story mode is not the best. My character doesn't fit in with the family in the game, i'm not African American and I don't live in NY. Disappointed in was't a bit more open to create a player/family that would fit me. Besides that, that game is cool and my 5 year old likes it too.

I like playing this game with my friends a lot. We can spend hours playing the game and have a real life experience. I don't really like where people can purchase their way up the playing order. You should have to actually play your way to that point and it be fair. Other than that everything else is good.

I love it!! It has different theme from the old ones. It takes getting used to. I love it that it's more realistic. You can't be crossing over too much. Ir you'll lose handle. I like that you can flop now too.

Graphics are very sharp. It almost looks like watching a live game. Gameplay is smooth. I like how the game is harder now, but its because they want to make the game more realistic.

While with most games I feel like there could be more features loaded and it could be improved by doing various options, I found this has been a very enjoyable game. I have played the past several basketball games in this 2K franchise. This is much more than just a roster update. This has a notable improvement over 2k15 as it has more options, better graphics, and an improved gameplay. The online execution for me so far has worked without any problems. It is also very fun to play with 2-4 players on one console.

The gameplay is fun and intuitive in this year's NBA game. I like that you can jump into a quick game, but if you want a more robust challenge, you can dive into the world of the GM. The presentation is TV quality and controls work well. I'd recommend this game!

The graphics for this game are insane. Its surprising to see how realistic even bench or practice squad players look.
The only thing lacking is the ability to play stingy defense. That and i still havnt figured out how to call offensive plays.
