It's a good overall game. If you like the past NFS games you should like this one. Here are the few things I don't like though. Musics selection needs work. Building a good off road vehicle seems confusing. I buy upgraded off road parts but the vehicles ranking drops. My biggest complaint is the drift scoring. I can take my car build for racing and drift perfect corners and get very low scores. Get in my car built with "drift" parts that I can barely control, crash into walls and barriers and score so many points I've beat the event before the 1st of 3 laps is done. Overall though it's a fun game with great graphics and lots of cars to chose from and modify.

Awesome game. I honestly think that this might very well be the best NFS game across the board. Everything I can really ask of a NFS game is there - an immersive story with interesting characters and character development, tons of customization including a vinyl editor so one can make their own liveries, great roster of cars, day and night time, progression, out of this world graphics, beautiful city, huge map, tuning your car for various purposes such as on-track racing, off-roading and drifting, live tuning.

Brought the game about a week ago after doing research about it. Love the game ! Starting with a beamer and the police chases are fun. The police really give you a run for your money lol but thats all a part of the game

I was just waiting for the release day and it’s here , a huge graphics upgrade from the previous one

This game is very good. It follows the NFS line well and I'm loving it.

I have played many of the NFS franchise games on both PC and consoles. Well coded but the AI will wreck you if you don't watch out.

There's a lot of customization in this game there's a lot of variety in this game the game puts you in a position to challenge yourself which I really do like but if you want to keep it at it on your own pace you can do that as well this is kind of the best for this series ever done.

NFS Heat wasn’t something I primarily was looking to get, but when I needed something new to play, I picked this up. I’ve played a lot of NFS, so I didn’t expect much, story is kinda cringey but the racing feels super good. Drifting feels even better. Customization and the vehicles in the game are detailed highly. Fun with friends or alone if you’re into racing games

To be frank, I'm not really into racing games. But I've always wanted to play one or at least be good at one. This is a great game for a beginner in the racing world. I put it in normal difficulty and I am having a blast with the races. The city is nice to look at while racing but I do wish it was more lively. The cars in the game are amazing, from the Firebird to even the Polestar One (which I've never heard of before this game). The customization is on point and it is really cool to see what the community can come up with. The performance of the vehicle can also affect the outcome of races against CPUs and online players which makes things a little more difficult. This game is a grind but it is a fun grind if you are able to play with friends. All in all, the game is fun for beginners that want to get into racing games as a whole. I will say this though, the police in the game are very overwhelming and can prove to be an obstacle. But once you upgrade your car to the max, nobody can touch you. This game is even better with friends so make sure to snatch this game with a homie whenever it goes on sale!

If you're going for a realistic racing game, this isn't is, but that's common with the NFS franchise. This is an arcade style racer with nearly limitless customization. The game is insanely fun once you get used to be able to come into corners at full speed and magically drift through the corners with reckless abandon. And the feature of doing "legal" racing during the day for money, and illegal street racing running from the cops at night for reputation is an excellent way to handle the balance of fun and challenging. Just keep in mind the cops have the power of God to go much faster than you to make it more challenging. Definitely recommend it and good luck ditching the Palm City Police Department.

It's been awhile since I played a fun need for speed game and I played almost all of them. Last good one for me was rivals. It's not perfect but the good outweighs the bad. Great sense of speed and loads of customization.

Just a great game to play simply put. Need for speed has always been a classic game and a must have for your game collection.

The best NFS since Most Wanted & Carbon, and it definitely lives up to the expectations those games left us with in all areas except the story, which was a bit lackluster... but not the worst there has been in a NFS game (much better than NFS 2015 & Payback). The physics are fantastic, feels like a fully refined version of Payback's physics, completely fixing the unpredictableness of Payback, and actually requiring skill to do well in. Drifting is not as easy as you'd expect for an arcade racer, but is rewarding and fun. Sense of speed is finally back, I don't think I've ever felt like I was moving as fast as I have in NFS Heat before. Cops are great and they're brutal, but also pretty fair. If you're quick and have a fast car, ducking through multiple back alleys is a good way to lose them... and they do put up a really good fight. Anyone saying that they're too hard shouldn't be playing a NFS game and needs to go play Forza Horizon (a good game in it's own right) without cops instead. The map is beautiful and fun to drive in with lots of secret places/shortcuts/alternate routes, as well as having billboards to smash (reminds me of Burnout Paradise) and other free roam activities like drift zones, long jumps, and speed traps. Heat feels like a combination of the best parts of Most Wanted, Carbon, and Underground... paired with NFS 2015 and Paybacks excellent customization, with a bit of Burnout Paradise thrown in in terms of free-roam activities. Overall- absolutely recommend the game. Ghost games listened to what the community wanted over the course of NFS 2015 and Payback, and delivered in almost every area this time. Really looking forward to seeing where this takes the NFS series. It's starting to feel like the good old NFS games we played as kids again.

This games is definitely a fast pace game.. I love the story mode and the different cars you can choose from.. need for speed captures all the possibilities drive a extremely powerful car.. the graphics are outstanding too ..

This was a really fun game with insane amounts of car customization. The map is huge that encompasses all types of terrain and even has some great off road racing. Drifting takes some getting use to in this game but can be customized multiple ways. The cop chases are fun during the later parts of the game but can be really hard in the early parts. I have not gotten to play the online mode because nobody ever accepts race challenges. This is a really fun game I would highly recommend if you like racing and car customization.
