This version of NFS reminds me of NFS: MOST WANTED. The return of police chases through the city and hills is great. Picking your path, racing in day or night for different objectives, is an excellent addition to the game play. Even the story in single player career mode is deeper and more engaging. Great buy!!!

Better than some of the previous installments. Has little story mode or challenges that take you through career progression. Controls are slightly different than old ones, but doesn’t hinder racing experience. Good one

I have played every NFS. From the early series defining 90s exotic racers, the shift to street racing, MOST WANTED 2005, attempt at cannonball run with The Run, failure in sim racing with Shift 1 and 2, the forgettable Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit reboots, then the interesting yet forgettable NFS 2015 and Payback. The last two games were mighty disappointing, but they served their purpose. Heat is definitely a return to a decent handling model, cheesy storytelling that defined the series since NFS Undeground and perfected in Most Wanted 05, and a great setting. Only issue is longetivity of this game once you complete the main campaign as you can't jump into online lobbies to search worldwide for races. Instead you are placed in a hub (open world) where you can only invite or be invited by other racers to participate in a race. Absolutely awful system. GTSport and Forza Horizon 4 stay in rotation because of the physics and the online aspect. Heat doesn't have the driving physics to make tuning and driving cars rewarding on its own. Without the campaign to drive the momentum, the game does lose steam. But during that time, it is probably one of the best arcade racing experiences I have had in a while. Crew 2 was absolute trash and Forza Horizon 4 took a while to grow on me before I fell in love. Thing is I'm done with Heat after 20hrs, while I'm going 741hrs strong in FH4. Either way, a worthy successor to NFS greats.

Great game! It definitely gives the feel of NFS Underground. It has been the closest comparison in the franchise.

Excellent graphics and game world is incredible. it's obvious years were invested in game development paying close attention to detail all while providing tons of content/options/etc. definitely a must buy if you like previous nfs games or just racing games in general.

What can I possibly say about this game that is bad? Nothing. Graphics are superb, handling of the vehicles whether it be trucks or super cars feel amazing. Story although very short , was interesting and they got every cars sound down to every detail. Great game.

Awesome gameplay and great customization for what you want to do

I admit at first I was hard on this game, but as I stuck w it, I grew to love the game. It’s very fun, entertaining and wonderful. The cars look sick and learning how to handle each car is a great adventure. Check it out if you like cars even in the slightest

This game is great. I have been in the market for a game that would make it feel like prime racing game era, midnight club and NFS Underground. This definitely quells that desire. My only gripe is you can’t split screen. Race games started out always being played with you and someone else. Not sure why companies have taken this feature out despite online play.

Best racing game ever you will always want to play . So many ways to customize your rides and very realistic. Even the weight of the vehicle will affect how it behaves just like a real custom car. Can't say enough its definitely a must buy!

Sometimes shooting games get old and boredom kicks in, having multiple styles of games in your arsenal with help you stay entertained and enjoying you console. Graphics along with the music makes this game so enjoyable and unwind.
