For a short 96 minutes, Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall; Get Him to the Greek) runs a tight ship, keeping the momentum at a good pace and never allowing a lull in the energy. As a silly, titillating, and enjoyable comedy, Neighbors runs on all cylinders, breaking my funny bone on multiple occasions with tons of memorable, knee-slapping moments. Sadly the film isn’t able to serve up anything emotionally resonating to truly care about the characters or their dilemmas.

A fun romp that is not totally based in reality but good for some laughs and a weekend film for the beach

This was recommended to me by a friend and it was spot on. Sadly, these days, a lot of comedies are simply trying too much or not enough. I enjoy the types that have those WTF moments but could still be applied to real life social situations. In this case, the person dealing with party boys and us trying to retain our youth. I wouldn't want to give away too much, but I would recommend and it's worth watching many times over.

I really enjoy the movie Neighbors. I thought it was a pretty hilarious movie. I wasn't sure when I first watched it if it would be all that funny or if maybe I fell for another movie that showed all the funny parts in the trailers. Surprisingly this movie had me rolling throughout the movie. The duo of Efron and Rogen was pretty close to being comedic gold for me. I figured it would be overly raunchy, but I think it had a great balance (unlike This is the End). I thought it was a funny movie and well acted. I would recommend this (Given your over 18).

Funny movie but not as funny as the first but pop some popcorn, sit back and relax

Ok I mean we have seen this type of movies a million times. But with that being said I still think this is a good movie. It is the type of movie you can just kind kick back with some friends, pop some popcorn and turn your minds off and enjoy. So if you expecting something new and different here there isn't really but if you just want to have a good time then this one is for you.

Going into the movie, I was expecting to be laughing continuously. Seth Rogan causes most of his own grief and escalates the conflict with the fraternity. It was a movie about the fear of life after college when the fun ends and leaving a legacy. Zac Efron was pretty funny and Seth was not a character that you can sympathize with. Solid movie, but not as funny as Animal House.

Well, this movie made me both laugh out loud and cringe at the same time. But not for the reasons you may think. I laughed at the obvious humor and hilarity of the married couple trying to "stay in the game" and I cringed at the antics of the frat house hijinks; but only because of the ideas that may be stolen from them! Yikes...glad my children are years away from college!

This film is kinda a lower key Animal house, with out going to far with what is referred to as toilet humor. If your on the fence about it, is defiantly worth renting, since it has a lot of laughs in it, and Zach Eferon makes fun of himself about dancing in almost every movie hes in. love the fact that in comes with a ITUNES Digital Copy, and Ultraviolet.

This movie is a blast. It's funny, maybe a little tedious at times (like, whyyyyy did they try to handle it themselves, and weren't there any other neighbors that heard the ruckus???), but overall it's hilarious, the acting is great, and there are lines that you'll find yourself repeating in conversation for months to come. Don't watch this with kids!!!

You know I was starting to think that the whole Seth Rogen thing might be getting old soon. Then he did This Is The End. Then he did THIS. Neighbors is funnnnnnyyyy. You will laugh with your bros. You will think about all of the stupid things you shouldn't have done in college but did anyway and would do go again if given the chance. It's worth it. Buy it.

My husband and I always purchase blu-ray's because of the quality of the picture. If you can't tell the difference between a standard DVD and a blu-ray, you need to get your eyes checked. Now on to the movie review, it was funny. It's targeted towards the 16-25 year old demographics but no matter what age you are, I think you will still get a good laugh.

My wife and I are parents of toddlers and could completely relate to the older couple in this film. (It's clear that there's a generation gap, and we've moved to the older side!) If you enjoyed the trailer for this movie, you'll probably enjoy the actual film - it's a fair representation of what you can expect, but it doesn't spoil all the best jokes.

I purchased this movie for my son's 18th birthday so we could watch it as a family (and so he would stop telling us the movie in bits and pieces as the commercials came on). He and I laughed through the whole movie while other family members seemed to only laugh at certain parts. It is a funny movie, but I guess it depends on your sense of humor.

Pretty standard for a Seth Rogen comedy. If you do not like him then I doubt this movie sways you but for those that do it is the same funny guy we have seen since Freaks and Geeks. Really beginning to appreciate Dave Franco. I hope he continues to get more roles in comedies. Ike Barinholtz steals the show as Rogen's friend and co-worker. And it is always nice to see Carla Gallo with more than just a cameo. Not nearly enough roles for her since Undeclared.

A lot of good humor but dumb humor also. Story was good

"Neighbors" harkens back to the classic comedies of the 70s and 80s like "Animal House" , "Revenge of the Nerds" and "Weekend at Bernies". I love Seth Rogens confrontational style of comedy but the real revelation here is Rose Byrnes performance as his wife. She shows unexplored ease with the raunchier material. A good time for all.

Loved this film, because it not only had a great cast, mostly I'm a huge fan of, but even the whole storyline played out really well. Its not your typical frat party movie. it actually had enough leg to sustain a story. Never laughed so loud from a movie like I did here. I recall seeing this in the theater and thought to myself, its a must own DVD, just had to get it!! and I believe I made a wise investment. I don't regret purchasing it!

I had higher expectations for this movie especially since its produced from Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg (This is the end- 2013). It's a very funny movie and would highly recommend watching this if you have not seen it, plus Zac Efron is in it! Zac does an awesome job as being president for his fraternity Delta Psi Beta!

Not all comedies are created equal. Some are meant to be clever and make you think about the jokes. Others are just meant to be utterly outrageous. Neighbors is definitely the latter of the 2. That still does not stop me from laughing every time I watch this movie. If you want to laugh hard at some crude, simple or gross jokes you cannot go wrong here(or with any Seth Rogen movie, really).
