This game is an improvement on the original in every way. The story and combat are very interesting. If you played the first game this is a must have.

Wow, I loved this game. Reminded me a lot of Persona 5 in terms of style, but with faster combat. If you like Persona I do think you’ll like this too. Collecting the massive amount of pins (abilities) seems daunting at first but adds way more depth and customization to the game.

A fantastic-feeling upgrade to the original DS title. A soundtrack that is equal to its predecessor in awesomeness, memorable characters, sprinkled with nostalgia to draw you back in and keep you friendly while giving the series a wonderful conclusion.

If you love the original TWEWY (from the DS game to mobile/Switch), you will love this game as well! The gameplay is fun and it's refreshing to meet new characters in the TWEWY universe!

Pretty fun JRPG all around. The story heavily references the first game in the series, so you'll need to play that first. The gameplay can git a bit button-mashy or grindy at times if you don't want to lower the difficulty, but it's convenient that there's a way to lower and raise the difficulty early on. I would say this is a must-play for JRPG fans.

Loved the original game on the DS and was pretty hyped to play this. So far 3 hours into the game, pretty disappointed with the gameplay and story. It seems like the game did not grow with its audience and I couldn't connect with any of the characters. Can't help compare this game with Persona 5, which did a much better job making the urban streets of Tokyo feel alive and open. The game might get better but with so many other games out, this one is getting shelved until the unforeseeable future.
