    With the new Chromecast with Google TV being so wonderful, I expected this new speaker to be a welcome addition to my home. True it is a little louder, but the big surprise is that even at maximum level the voice of the google assistant functions is very reduced from the output of the voice on the earlier google mini devices. Maybe it's something that Google will easily correct in future software options and upgrades, but I'm not waiting for that to happen. It's being returned to the store.
