I purchased the Google audio and the Amazon echo the same day just to compare the two side-by-side in my opinion considering this Google smart speaker is designed for playing music it was very underwhelming compared to the Amazon in terms of the assistant itself I think it is way better than the Amazon but in terms of sound quality it was very underwhelming the bass didn’t really come into affect until the higher volumes I’m not a bass head by any means but it was just a very flat sounding profile and that was even after adjusting the equalizer in the Google app

Purchased this speaker to complement my google home this speaker has great sound for a little as it is easy to pair to my home google

need to be able to disable yellow lights when speaker is off from the app. you don't what multiple google devices trying to respond when you ask a question. This is help by placing it in the same room on google home but it does not always work. Could be fixed by giving app ability to turn off yellow light on front of device.I only need one speaker in the room listening to my google comand.
