Not as good or as useful as a Sonos Play:1, but will be significantly better if they decide to let it work with a Chromecast or TV.

It's worked very well and connected the google home app easily. I've had a few google products and they have worked well. I've had trouble with Alexa products recognizing commands or turning on randomly. So far so good with google.

They are exactly what youd expect. Very clear, well designed drivers. Assistant integration is always helpful. Casting audio is a great feature. But, that all changes when you try to pair them in Google Home. They completely lose their minds. Disappear from your account, lose wifi connection, split audio, its endless. If the software was where it should he, they would be perfect. Definitely slip untik Gen2.

Posted .Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Nest Audio, Victor. We’re glad you’re happy with the sound quality and being able to cast audio. That said, we hear your concerns with pairing multiple devices together. Here’s steps to make sure pairing goes as smoothly as possible:
1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Google Nest or Home speaker.
2. Open the Google Home app.
3. Tap Devices.
4. Touch and hold one of the speakers you want to pair.
5. Tap Settings > Audio > Stereo pair > Next.
6. Select 2 devices you'd like to pair > Next.
7. The lights on one of the speakers should start to flash white. Tap Left or Right to match the location of the speaker that blinks > Next.
8. Under "Where is your pair?" choose a room for the stereo pair > Next.
9. Create a name for your stereo pair > Next > Done.
