No complaints on the sound. The issue I have is connecting to Google TV and pixel phones. It always disconnect and kind of annoying.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Google audio and the Amazon echo the same day just to compare the two side-by-side in my opinion considering this Google smart speaker is designed for playing music it was very underwhelming compared to the Amazon in terms of the assistant itself I think it is way better than the Amazon but in terms of sound quality it was very underwhelming the bass didn’t really come into affect until the higher volumes I’m not a bass head by any means but it was just a very flat sounding profile and that was even after adjusting the equalizer in the Google app

This is help by placing it in the same room on google home but it does not always work. Could be fixed by giving app ability to turn off yellow light on front of device.I only need one speaker in the room listening to my google comand.
