The three unit Google Nest AC 2200 mesh system kept failing to setup initially. Took several hours over 2 calls with Google Tech Support to finally get these devices working. Once setup, they work consistently well and are stable, but don't provide strong enough connections in all parts of my 3300 sq ft one-level home. The room where the router is placed and its adjoining bedroom get a little more or less than the 300 Mbps speeds I get from my ISP, but in other bedrooms and living areas, speeds drop to 200 MBps and in my den, which is about 50 ft from the router, drops to a mere 50 MBps and in bathrooms about 80 MBps. That's not noticeably better than the cheaper ($ 165) TP Link Deco S4 mesh with 4 nodes that it had replaced. Can't say I am satisfied or impressed, and suspect that I may need an additional access point costing over $ 110 to provide uniformly good coverage in all rooms. But if I'm going to have to spend $ 360 in all to get good wifi over my whole home, I will have to consider the $ 350 three unit WiFi 6 triple-band Netgear Orbi 753 package from Costco (Black Friday sale) which is rated for 7500 sq ft coverage.

Hi Miken, thanks for sharing your experience. We apologize to hear about the slow Wi-Fi connection on your Nest Wifi.

The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 square feet. Each Nest Wifi point can cover up to 1600 square feet. However, Wi-Fi signal coverage may be affected by different factors and we recommend trying out some tips below to help isolate the issue:
      - As a general rule, points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf.
      - Building materials and other objects located between your Google Wifi Points and mobile devices may slow your connection. If possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your primary and secondary Points.
      - There could be signal interference due to traffic on your Wi-Fi network, on your neighbors' Wi-Fi networks, or from other sources like microwaves or baby monitors.

Four virtual learners, one husband working from home with zero problems. Really has helped our internet service. All four kids are working upstairs in their room doing virtual school. All using WiFi. No more spottiness. Husband is plugged into the device downstairs and has had zero issues since installation. Now everyone can game, stream and do all their online schooling/ work. Works for us.

Google's Nest Wifi is something I wish friends would have told me to install at my house months ago. The ability to install multiple access points with basically zero configuration is so easy. I have about a 2,000 sq apartment. I have this kid with no additional access points and I get full coverage all over the place.

I was having issues getting wifi to the opposite corner of my house and this system helped greatly. I have unfortunately had to do a system reset on the system twice since owning it < 1 yr which means I had to re-create my entire network. Not really sure why that happened but, outside of those two instances, the setup and maintenance using the native Google apps is easy to use and navigate. My house is 2,400 sq ft and this system works well for this size space.

Provides Internet coverage for our detached garage

We purchased this as we have a two car detached garage. My husband takes an exercise class on-line and he uses a boxing equipment which is out in the garage. Our internet would not handle the garage (too far) Google Nest came to the rescue. He can receive a strong enough signal to be able to exercise. Thanks Google Nest. Easy to install!!!

We've been very happy with this setup and how it helps to expand our wifi signal. We have 3 floors and the router from our provider just wasn't enough to reach all levels. The only caveat is that they sometimes will glitch and we need to reset, but that's been the same with many Google products for us. Love that the wifi bases serve as extra google homes! That's a great additional aspect that we use daily.

The wifi controls and user interface within the Google Home app make this a convenient and easy to use system. While this version Google Wifi doesn't yet incorporate the wifi 6 standard, most of the technological advances are already included; you aren't missing out by going with this wifi 5 system. Google makes this as simple a (mesh) router as you will find without sacrificing on tech or performance.

After suffering many lag issues with the modem/router that we lease from our cable provider, we decided to buy our own router. We just plugged it into the same modem that was given us connectivity issues and haven't had an issue since. Also love that the extra point acts as a google assistant. I have it connected to my Spotify account and all I have to do is ask it to play a song and it does.

After starting to work from home I realized my old router wasn't good enough for everything I needed to do, mainly video calling. Especially considering I have 16 smart devices connected to the Wi-Fi. I ordered this router and I absolutely love it. Setup was a breeze and only took a few minutes. Video calls are great with no dropped connections or choppy video. It was well worth the money.
