The technician who came to install our internet and cable recommended this router, and it has worked great. It also helps me save money from the cable company by owning not renting the router. They are small and take up very little space and they look cute. I love them.

It enhanced signal but not enough to justify the cost

Works well when your ISP has suspect modems (looking at you Cox). Added bonus is the point is also a google home speaker. It actually responds and works much faster than the other google home/nest speakers and smart displays (I own almost every different model of them)

The only issue I have had is it doesn’t automatically change my old laptop to the new puck when in my studio. So I have to log it off and then log back on and it jumps on. Which is about a 20 second problem. But if I’m on a zoom call and go in, I will lose connection. It’s probably user error or that my Computer is a dinosaur.

These thinks work great! I had issues in my home getting the internet up to my kids rooms and down stairs to the lower lever for my tv. So, I bought these things and put one on each floor. No more problems! I love them!

Just mesh system improved my Wi-Fi quality throughout my house 100%. Love it! I have a 3200 ft.² house that is a two-story. My modem is all the way in 1/4 downstairs and we’ve struggled with Wi-Fi coverage forever. This is a great system resolve those issues.

This really boosted the network well in our two story condo. The one router downstairs just wasn’t enough to carry the load of 4 smart TVs, laptops and phones. This really boosted the whole place. The “Hey Google” smart assistant is very easy to use also. Would recommend and buy again.

I had a Mediacom modem, router and multiple wifi boosters. I had nothing but problems day after day. I switched to a NetGear modem and this Google nest. Works fantastic in my 3 level home. Wifi works everywhere all of the time. I highly recommend this product.

We used these WiFi routers with add on signal amplification boosters together with a master router to overcome the previous system's weaker signal, weaker booster amplification and a specific device interference that impaired the WiFi signal on said devices. Had to be re-installed to overcome these issues but works well.

So happy I finally purchased this mesh network. I’d been having issues with the WiFi in my house for years and now I finally have service everywhere. Plus it has parental controls so you can set up schedules for individual devices as well as site blocking for inappropriate websites.

It initially was great- the boost in wifi signal was noticeable. The downer is that the point in the kitchen constantly disconnects. It flashes yellow or states it is not connected to wife multiple times in even. just 10 minutes. If you are playing music through the point, the music just stops. once it reconnects, the music starts, sometimes. I don't think it is really. helping our wifi strength now that it is constantly disconnecting. (we purchased in end of august). We have tried resetting/restarting multiple times per google help. Nothing helps.

Used in a very large 5000sqft house. I would recommend purchasing another access point for a house this size. Also there's a significant drop off in internet performance for the access points vs the router. Set up can be more complicated than necessary. Recommend someone familiar with wireless tech install this for you.

Like many people, I have been working from home since March. I bought this nest system in July and it solved my connection problems. No more getting booted off Zoom calls. No more download slowdowns. Then four months later the router broke. It seems it's a defective router. It loses connection over and over and over again. It's still under warranty but the process of getting a replacement from Google is absurd. I have had three chats with Google customer service. I've filled out three forms. I've downloaded three or four diagnostic tests for them. I've had to grant them access to my connection for a day. I've allowed them to place a $180 hold on my credit card. I've filled out an order for a replacement. And they still have not shipped it. Making matters worse, every email Google sends gets filtered into Gmail's junk folder. You'd think since they invented the email they could figure out how to use it so that their own product recognized their email. I almost never write reviews, but I feel like it's a public service for me to warn you guys away from this product. I will never buy a Google product again, and if I had it do over again, I would choose a different system.

I've used the Nest Wifi for over a year now and it really has help improve my wifi signal coverage throughout my house. I'm glad I purchased it. Plus I like the added speaker function.

I already had these at home! Works great and no regrets! It is worth every penny! Some things are worth the investment and this is not something to skimp on!! So, of course I got them for my office, as well!! Great product!! Nothing else will do!

Got this since i have a brick wall in my room that prevented me from getting good signal. Put one in room and one outside of room and significantly improved Wi-Fi speed. Would recommend playing with different positioning of the nests to get best results.

Over all I love it but I'm really hoping that Google makes a few more improvements. For some reason it won't let me manually control the placement of the nodes and they try to reach back to the home router which would be great if it was center house. Sadly it's been a bit frustrating but still better then my previous setup.

Already had a google smart home set up started with some google minis and nest home hub. This router was super easy to set up and add. The point that comes with it connected quickly and adds WiFi signal strength to the other side of our house. Definitely a good buy.

Worked out perfectly. I have fiber optic internet so I had at&t to convert my router to act soley as a modem so that why I can use the google mesh router with the added point. It is possible to use your current router with a Google router but you mind run into connectivity issues.
