I purchased the nest Yale locks so I could control them with my iPhone. My only complaint is that the motor for the locks is on the week side. They are slow to lock and unlock and if you don’t wait to open the door until the lock is completely done the deadbolt will stop operation and then give a voice alert that the dead bolt is stuck.

Not Reliable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a big Nest fan and an X-Googler, I use Google/Android products if at all possible. I purchsed the Nest x Yale system for my vacation home and installed it over the Memorial Day weekend. As I replaced and existing deadbolt and had to resize the door penetration, it was a difficult installation. The day after installation, the lock flashed red and required a reset to factory settings to function. I left happy and return to my main home, 1000 miles away. The day after getting home, I checked ant the lock was offline. Today I had a chance to investigate, Nest Connect is connected to my internet, the lock is offline. I contacted customer support and they could not help without me being there. I am returning the product as soon as possible although it will be 30 days before I return. This does not come close to my expectations for a Nest product.
