Purchased to replace front door traditional lock. Works great. I can unlock and lock in my nest app. Would be great if it worked with Google Home and allowed me to lock and unlock as well.

This lock is the most beautiful one available and for a while was working perfectly. I love nest. For some reason after about 5 months the lock kept loosing connection and it is a painful journey to re-adding the lock. I eventually couldnt trust it and used my geek squad protection to trade it in for a different model. Online research there are some known issues like mine in the nest community but not much has been done to address it. Also because the lock is a joint venture between yale and nest I had to troubleshoot with both companies which was incredibly annoying.

Purchase price was fair. Instructions thorough and installation easy. Very convenient locking system, can assign separate family member as well as guest entry codes. Locks automatically or by touch of a button when exiting.

This is the best addition to my Best ecosystem. Not only it's smart, it's made by a combination of two of the best companies out there, Nest & Yale Locks. It's well made, looks great and works flawlessly. A must have.

Makes entry and sharing home access a breeze! I love the notifications when someone unlocked/locks the door and the lock door reminders when you leave and forget to lock.

Purchased this as a gift for a friend and they really love it. This gives a sense of security for any homeowner.

I love this product. No more stress for remembering if I locked the door when I leave home. The app works perfectly, I can create temporary codes for my guests and/or open the door for them if I not at home.

We had a Schylling Lock prior to this and it was ok, but this one is so smooth and it warns you and it's easy to see in the dark, we absolutely love it and are still learning new features about it as we use it!

This replacement of a out dated deadbolt. Is awesome It's smart and an easy install. Offer great prices for a tech that locks the door if you forget to when you walk away. Turn that one on lol

Simple installation, set up and synced easily and has worked flawlessly. Everyone in the house is happy with the new locking system.

Very easy to install and so far working well. I would prefer if the Nest Connect were integrated vs separate device but otherwise no complaints.

It's just the deadbolt. No door knob included. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a smart deadbolt if you still need a key to unlock the knob. Of course you could always have the knob unlocked and just use the deadbolt, but the idea seems strange to me (having an extra security feature you wouldn't use). Also, in following the instructions, the lock was not connecting to my phone. Everything was connected to the wifi. The egg (or whatever it's called) was working. It was connecting to my phone, but the lock itself wasn't. Not sure what the issue was. I returned it, but its probably worth having for someone else.

Works well. I don't have to carry my home key anymore. Less keys to carry. Had 2 already for front and side door (so no problem if one battery is out - less likely to happen at the same time.)
