I saw there are two options wi-fi or bluetooth. I prefer wi-fi option and this doorlock also has finger print scan plus key code entry. It also integrated with my Nest app. Satisfied with purchase.

Set up is simple enough, the main reason why I can’t give this product five stars is because the software is buggy at times. I’ve had issues where it wouldn’t link back to my nest app and I would have to completely reset the lock to factory settings.

Although the lock design is gorgeous and much nicer than other products on the market we have not been able to connect it to the app. We were able to program the master code but now we literally have only one code and can’t get the connect unit and the lock to align with WiFi. We’ve had a Schlage wireless lock for 5 years and have never had an issue - installation was a breeze. Disappointed in this Yale, it’s beautifully designed, and could be great but without the functionality of the app it’s just another lock.

waste of money

Unfortunately, this time the Google Nest app is not working for either of my locks. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps, but the app has been offline for the past week. This has been very frustrating and has caused a lot of inconvenience. I am now considering whether it is possible to return the product.

Nest x Yale - Smart Lock with Nest Connect - Satin

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Nest x Yale - Smart Lock with Nest Connect - Satin Nickel works well with google home and makes entering the home easy and the only downside I have found is the battery life if you have a active household going in and out more then id say 5-6 times a day. as with other google products this is pricy but if your able to catch a deal totally worth it.
