What I like most about this switch is NO BRICK to plug in! It's really nice that it can also be easily mounted in almost any position yet it's easy to release from the mounting bracket if needed. I've been using it as an unmanaged switch and so far it has worked flawlessly. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if the need arises.

High speed gigibit switch that automatically detects gigibit capability of attached equipment. You can see which ports are operating at gigibit speed. Ability to mount under a desk or on the wall eliminates desktop wires and clutter. Installation easy as a 1-foot tap in.

It was a very slim switch, came with easy install key and works great. all ports are programmable through web interface.

Great switch; conveniently sized and fits perfectly where I need it. The only negative I have found is the sticky back to the switch (if you choose to use it) doesn't hold very well to the flat surface I mounted it to. Otherwise, great product.

It's an 8 port gigabit switch with a wall mount plate. It fits in my server alcove and provides gigabit connectivity to my server, router, 3 desktops, wireless access point, and wired network printer.

Was able to mount this in my cabinet with ease, really like this design and so far it has worked really well. Seeing great performance out of it.

I used this switch behind my home theater to connect all of my network devices. The included bracket and screws made it easy to attach to my TV stand, and it uses a standard power cord, no brick at all. Basic installations are plug and play, however there are more advanced settings (eg. QOS) if needed as this is a smart switch. The two integrated USB ports are convenient for charging devices as well.

Added this switch for an upstairs bedroom expansion with limited space available in the network box I had installed for the project. I am very satisfied the multi-directional installation bracket made the installation for my application very functional, making the entire project come together for a professional instillation.

the unit itself doesn't feel very sturdy, but it does the job. it's smaller then the other models are can install easier then the rest. thought it'd be slower, but just as fast as other models.

We have many of the Netgear ProSafe series switches in use at different clients. Never had a problem for years. They rarely need rebooted after power outages, as many switches do. Blah blah, bottom line is I would buy nothing else, and highly recommend them.

Bought this needing a flexible switch for the office, appreciated the USB charging ports as well. The clip-in mount was easy to set up and pretty solid. Pretty much liked everything about this switch,

Great switch to add printers and computers to my local pc. Unfortunately wireless networking wasn't cooperating but this switch allowed me to add ports from my router no problem.

Plug and play. I use it for running all of my entertainment center tv consoles everything is Hardline. Never had any issues

Purchased this switch as its both a unmanaged and has web management for QoS, Port On/Off, VLAN, etc. Plug and Play and the switch is unmanaged, use the CD or download the software and you can setup the switch to be managed. Netgear makes top quality products, I will continue to use them as they continue to live upto or exceed my standards. Mounts anywhere in any position with the supplied mounting bracket. Easily identify which ports are on Gigabit and 10/100 with the onboard LED's. Excellent product

Not all switches are the same and for Netgear to make another quality 10/100/1000 gigabit switch with web management (if you want to use it) it is setup for non-managed out of the box. This was a great expansion for my network. Holding/mounting adapter works excellent. Does not come with any network cables, but most of us who buy this already have quality cables.

It's a switch it does a good job and on a better note mounts to the wall with ease. I do wish though that the power plug came straight off the bottom instead of to one side.

This does just what I needed it to do. I would recommend this for a small network.
