I know nothing about the function of a router. I just know that when it works my internet connections are smooth and timely. That is what I have with this product.

I was going to get a different router but the guy at best buy told me about this one. It works great and it comes with an app that you can fix it remotely even re-boot it.

Could not get online when first hooked it up because the router needed to updated. Took forever because first we thought it was our internet provider then after many attempts with them on the phone we figured it was the router. Then on the phone with Netgear for an hour we got it up and running. Thank goodness my 19 year old was there to help. I feel that all I should have had to do was plug everything in as the directions indicated

Needed an upgrade from a 10yr old router in my rental properties. This puppy did the job just fine. Downloads photos at record speeds. I bought 2 of them.

we get better wifi through this than through the wifi given to us by the provider. it is 2-3 times faster and we are on a fiber network.

Never had a router before, but this one is great. If your going to get one for a small spaced area, this router is ideal for what you need.

This router was recommended by a friend and I have to say, it works great. Located in living room, there is never an issue finding wifi anywhere in my house.

It is a good router for one person with a couple devices. Once you get more than 3 devices connected to the internet, the speed slows down.

We've had a lot of problems with routers in the past. This one has been great, especially making our wifi calls and Netflix work so much better. Thanks for the tip!

Very satisfied with my purchase. Wasn't to sure on what I needed but the sales clerk at Best Buy was most helpful and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.

As a LAN, not providing Internet, it works great. I'm sure it's good for more, but I only use it for remote control of an audio console. For that, it's perfect.

Easy to set up and has the wired ports for direct connection. The usual Netgear interface works well to configure everything.

However, I do not recommend using this equipment on a low-end laptop because it seems to slow down speed. It just means I have to invest into a better laptop.

I needed another router for my office so that guest can use the Wi-Fi without tapping into my office Wi-Fi. I've not had any problems or complaints about the router.

I brought the router home, hooked it up, no problem. I live in a bigger house. The range of signal inside and around the outside of home is just what I needed.

The Netgear AC1200 dual band WiFi router is an excellent high quality router. Simple setup with great WiFi coverages. I would recommend this product!

My old wireless router did not get the coverage I needed. It was easy to install and all my wireless equipment works just fine now. It was just what I needed.

Purchased Item to gain WI-Fi for my Mom's computer. However it would not work with her set up using the US Cellular Hot Spot. So had to return purchase back to Best Buy! So I gave it a 3 star overall rating as I never got to see it work. I really didn't want to give it an overall star rating because any rating would be unfair to the product as it never got used. Same goes for recommend to a friend. I have to mark one but cannot give a recommendation till I get to use an item.
