Router for lower speeds

Having issues

I'm paying for 400 mb/s and getting around 150 through the router. When I connect directly to modem with Ethernet, i get about 450. All firmware updated. tried turning modem and router off multiple times to allwo them to communicate. tried resetting the router, all with no luck. Going to buy another router

2.4ghz does not work

ROUTER NOT UP TO MY EXPECTATIONS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Netgear AC1200 was purchased to replace a Netgear WNR2000 that had a bug. Netgear offers a free fix, but it requires the purchase of a cord that cost as much as the router. The bug caused the wi-fi to cut out unexpectedly and frequently. The new router has power and reach advantages over the old, but I did not expect it to have the same symptoms as the 3-year old it replaced. I may just have to buy that cord and fix them both and perhaps donate one.

Decent router

Not strong enough for my apartment
