I read that NG AC1200 was right for FIOS. The machine I received has NO coxial port. A technician on chat showed me a catalogue pic of same model which showed the white circle port for coxial recepter. Just another pandemic nightmare.

Keep losing connection I find it very annoying. I plan on returning it

Never have had a problem with Netgear routers until now. The startup wizard was not working so accessed it manually by going to 192.168.1.1 and still unsuccessful. Registered, reset, power-cycled modem and router and still nothing. Everything was hooked up correctly. Had to return defective product.

I was so disappointed at the performance of this router. I have a 750 sf apartment and it couldn't handle what I was doing (not even going thru walls). It just wasn't powerful enough and I constantly was having to reboot it to find everything.

I ordered the NETGEAR - AC1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi 5 Router. Not only did it arrive late, but it wasn’t the right order; instead, 3 outlets arrived, not even remotely close to my original order. Sorely disappointing.

Does not work and cannot return as I lost the receipt.

We went through many channels to ensure that "operator error" wasn't the reason it wasn't working. Called tech support etc who told us the box was dead. Sooooo yup. Lost out on money due to covid19 and a faulty product

We live in a 1000 sq ft house, the signals are good in the living room but when we try to access the internet from one of our bedrooms the there are no signals , I have to buy a WiFi signal booster on top of this. Stay away from this

This was really hard to program with the App. It simply couldn't work. Even tech support couldn't help it get running. I recommend paying a little more and getting something that works.

I don't think it's all that great. It sure didn't do what the Best Buy employee had told us it would. Could be that we aren't that handy with computers, therefore, we are giving this product a 3 star rating to be fair.

Bought this router from best buy, unfortunately it was a dud. After spending an hour and a half with tech support, I gave up. Ended up returning the product back.

I returned this router because it was perpetually stuck on it's install wizard. There is no troubleshooting available during that install so I couldn't do anything. Got a linksys instead which works great.

Bought this to replace the worthless product provided by spectrum for wifi. This product was promptly returned for a linksys due to lack of signal strength.

Happy it failed within return period. Note: This model is not recommended by Greenlight Networks. Disregard YES /NO - had to choose - I did not have it in use long enough to determine.

I purchased this after my TP-Link router wouldn't let me connect to the internet. Although I went cheap on the first router I decided to spend a little more this time. There are so many routers to choose from so I had to do a lot of research before I went into the store and purchased one. My mom and I walked into the store knowing we narrowed down our options to either a Netgear or a Linksys router. We saw this one, read the reviews and thought let's try it out. So I have a 700 sq ft apartment and so far it's amazing! The speed is unbelievable and I get full connectivity throughout my entire apartment. We don't have many devices on at one time but so far it's worked with my laptop, iPhone, and Roku without any problem. The setup was easy until I hit a snag, but all I did was call customer service and they helped me fix my problem. They were phenomenal. So I would 100% recommend this product. I can't say if it would work for like a bigger place like a two-floor home but it does work in smaller areas. Also, a huge plus that I have seen many people complain about is the app. I love the app. It lets you do everything on it that you would usually have to do on your computer such as renaming your router and changing the password. You can also see who's on your WiFi and either pause or cancel their service. Hands down best router I've gotten and I'll never change from Netgear!

This may be a wonderful router once you get it to work, but it requires a smart phone to get it set up. Not everyone has a smart phone or wants one, including me.

Updating my technology has been an excellent move on my part. Streaming of music to my Best Buy wireless JBL speaker is now more efficient with few interruptions.

The reason for the poor rating is because it quit working. Plus it wasn't powerful enough for all my connections. Returned it to the store and up graded to a bigger router.

I guess i was sole a product i didn't need or something because it did not help the problem i was having with my internet.

I'll never know if this is good router - - it was recommended by my knowledgable son. However, the router did not play nice with my NYC cable provider.
