This is a good add on wifi if you're looking for easy setup and a better wifi speed if an internal mini USB on a dongle doesn't provide adequate performance.

Netgear is always a product I buy be it WIFI or routers etc.. Their products stand the test of time. This was plug and play no issues whatsoever.

Setup a private office in the basement. The router is 2 floors above and another 20 ft away on top of that. Have good to excellent signal strenth.

Worked fine for me... I would suggest forgoing the netgear included software for managing the SSIDs and just use windows built in support. but works fine overall

I was not sure when I purchased this it would work in my back office. The unit is away from the main wifi source. It works perfectly. Strong signal, no spotty service.

WOW! I was having awful WiFI connectivity. This adapter empowered me to go from 5 Mbps to 107.3 Mbps. Not kidding! My home office is in a redesigned part of our garage, on the other side of a 2,700 house from the router. Night and day difference. I cannot more HIGHLY recommend this adapter and Best Buy's team of associates who helped me. BUY THIS!

The Netgear wireless adapter was easy to set up and utilize for someone who is just learning to use computers.

Works great the printer is on one side of our home and we are using this for my sons computer one the other side of the house. He is 13 and set it up himself!

Bought because laptop Wi-Fi card would not find the 5ghz band on home high speed internet modem. Now downloading at speeds of 90mbps vice 30mbps on the 2.4ghz side of modem.

Switched my in home networking from DSL to optical fiber. After switchover my laptop could not see the network when running on the fiber network. Eventually found out that the router was of an advanced model type and my 6 year old laptop's wireless adapter was just not seeing both its 2.5 and 5 gig bands. Purchased the product a day later at local Best Buy, did a fast 15 minute installation using the supplied CD software and my laptop had no further problems connecting to the network.
