Wireless Network adapter

I do notice that my computer boots slower because it take more time than expected to connect to network. I am not sure if it is my computer or the adapter. This is the first time I had to connect this tower to a wireless network, always had hard wired ethernet.

I like having it on its little dock on my desk rather than connected directly to the PC. I miss not having the full speed of a direct connection, but this adapter is the next best option in my opinion.
