Great WiFi Adapter

Unfortunately, my computer did not have wi fi capabilities so I had to purchase this so I could use the hotel wifi. This worked like a charm. It was great. It worked right away and I never had any drops. I would recommend this product.

Easy setup a must if using used equipment

Instead of doing sergery on the laptop, I opted for external solution. The Netgear AC 1200 high gain USB 3.0 adapter recommend by the best buy staff was the perfect choice Since using the high gain adapter add on, No more signal drop outs. In all situations, The new technology upgrade has not failed once

Only 300mbs not 700 as advertised

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While this device is nice and fast, my laptop internet gets 1000mbs but using this only gets 300mbs with each test. I have 3.1 usb but still only 300mbs speeds. Nice device though. At least my desktop has reliable internet now.
