Love that it works Love that it is external Appreciate the Geek Squad for being available and informative. I was traveling and it is wonderful to know that all I have to do is find a Best Buy to get trustworthy help.

Like a lot of people I live in an apartment and am killed with the 2.4 band but with this I am using the 5.0 band with remarkable speed cause I sit on top of everybody else. I don't know why I didn't do it before. Just be sure you have a wireless router supporting a/c :)

Had problems getting my WiFi to work and after talking to the wireless provider, they had no clue what was wrong. Spoke to a friend who told me this little device was all I needed. Bought it, plugged it in and everything came together. Simple, inexpensive fix. Love it.

Walked in to Best Buy clueless. Got assistance quickly. Was given multiple options and advice. Works great, just as described. Only thing better than the product I purchased was the service that was provided by the Best Buy associate!

I was having problems with my wifi kicking me out quite often. I thought it was my carrier and was very frustrated. However someone suggested that I may need anew adapter and suggested this one. Well I am not getting kicked out as often so I'm very satisfied.

Updated my bf's old PC to windows 10 and Everytime I'd try to connect it by password it would blue screen. I connected with the WPS button instead and updated all drivers properly. Never crashed again after that.

Loses signal every now and then but overall a good buy

It definitely picks up the wifi. I wish the extender (to raise the antenna) that came with it worked, so I could move it to the back of the tower and free up a front USB port. Either way, it still works.

I didn't want to run a bunch of wires or put holes in my walls so this was a nice alternative. Little bit of trouble getting the driver working but searching for the error on the internet allowed me to fix it pretty quickly. Fortunately, I did have access from another device.

The built in WiFi on my wife's desktop died and of course she wanted it fixed immediately. This USB stick did the trick and I was able to plug it in one of the front ISB ports. Works great for her needs.

I use this little guy for redundancy and for teaming on my main rig. Sometimes I swap it between machines. I just love it's versitility, and OMG it's fast!!! It can use standard Windows drivers, but for best performance, I recommend downloading OEM drivers. Get one!!

I was able to connect this to my desktop in another room in order to work from home while other family is using other spaces. It was quick and easy to hook up and I have had no issues with the Wifi speeds.

This is a great wifi adapter which works just fine with Windows 10 also. I was having issues with the network card of my HP laptop, like many others, ever since I upgraded to Windows 10. This device now acts as a new network card and it fixed all my wifi issues.

Install was a little flakey and required contacting manufacturer to straighten things out. If you use Windows 10, do not use the install disc, it will only frustrate the install and you'll have to call support like I did. Other than that, it seems to work as promised.

Good product just doesn't reach quite as far as I needed it too.

I needed to purchase this item as my new computer didn't have built in wifi (gaming computer). Install and connection were simple and my wifi speeds seemed to improve from my older built in wifi. Only thing that keeps it from getting a five star review is the short USB cord.

Easy to install right out of the box. Has been working flawlessly after it was install, easy set up 5min or less. My system found the device right away, pushed 2 buttons and on the air.

I bought this for my wife when I set up a home office for her on the second floor of our home. The WiFi reception was sporadic upstairs. Since we put this booster on her computer she gets a strong signal and hasn't had a bit of trouble since.

After installation, I noticed much improved streaming and better web surfing than before. I still rely on the internal adapter that comes with my laptop, but this product comes in handy as a backup whenever the adapter starts to act wonky.

This device was recommended by a guy working on my internet connection. I'd moved my office to another room and my old device wouldn't work. I bought this, he installed it and it works like a charm.
