Customers frequently mention the ease of use, strong WiFi performance, and reliable signal strength as significant advantages. Many appreciate the adapter's good range and relatively easy installation process. While some users noted the small size of the adapter, others reported occasional software issues. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs the negative comments.

My wife wasn’t strong enough to reach from the basement to the room with my computer and while this drops sometimes it’s not as frequent as without it. I would definitely recommend this.

Good Wireless Wi-Fi Adapter

The device works well 6 to 10 feet close to the source, anything farther than this will need a router with a 5.0Hz band.
Netgear sells a router that works well with such configuration; the prize range however is around 100 bucks to enjoy the "High-Gain."

It was tricky to set up. My son ended up figuring it out through trial and error how to get his computer to recognize the device. We followed the directions in the package, but they did not work. Device works great so far, but wish the instructions would've been better.

I love this new adapter, only negative comment I have is that the USB cord is short. I had to invest in a longer cord due to the fact that my tower is on the floor and I wanted to have the adapter elevated for better signal reception.

When mom moved into a new condo the desktop she has did not have a wireless card and the only phone jack was in the bedroom, phone company would not put a jack into her office. so now she is wireless. works great for all the stuff she uses the net for.

The support we received at the store and with the Geek squad was very good. There was a slight mistake with loading the wrong virus software but they took care of it right away. I am just starting the computer up and have not used it much yet. It seems to work well so far.

Drops signal a lot. This is my second one — the first is still in use as well. Both have periodic net drops which is annoying but it was cheap and I’m not on either pc 24/7 so it’s okay for now.

We tried wired connection to the computer but needed to move the computer farther from our modem. This wireless adapter wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive on the market but from past experience with Netgear it is a reliable product

Product works great. Only issue was on Windows 10 It says it can not find the device while installing the driver software. However, Windows 10 sees the device done and uses the built-in Wi-Fi network software for controlling the connection.

This usb adapter works well, but it has to be done with the driver it comes with. Using the internal windows drivers is what keeps it fast. Though, even with it doesn't reach the full potential of a high speed modem, at least not mine.

The wireless adapters were for 3 desktops in a company. They needed a wireless internet connection and access to a wireless printer. This was necessary since the pc's were in the basement and could not be wired.
No problems at all with them!

Netgear AC1200 Dual Band Wifi USB 3.0 Adapter is amazing when your network has a lot of devices going at the same time and the wifi signal is temperamental.

Works well. It was installed on a desktop that did not have wireless access. Computer is on a second floor router in on 1st floor. The strength is medium. It you have thick wall with bricks you may have issues.

When I needed a wireless connection for my computer, BB staff recommend this as the best on the market. It had everything I was looking except you needed a 3.0 USB connection. My computer only had 2.0 USB Connection. No problem returning this product.

Bought this because my new house doesn't have wired internet connections upstairs & didn't want to move my desk & desktop computer downstairs. Even upstairs & at the other side of the house, it picks up & maintains a continuous wireless connection.

Bought this for a work project and although it functions well, it definitely lacks in power. If the place you are don't have a good wi-fi, this will be kind of useless, so you need something powerful. I only recommend if you have really strong wi-fi signal.

Works great. We needed a new WiFi card for my son’s PC because his new motherboard didn’t have built in and there’s no wall jack in his room.
