This thing has come in handy since i stopped running a 50 ft cord across the room.

Honestly its really good when it works well but after owning this for about a month it starts having connection issues and it gets worse over time. Its pretty common according to the netgear forums.... it works most of the time but these last 2 weeks its been disconnecting randomly mid games and mostly when I start up my pc

My only complaint is that sometimes it doesn't connect upon start up and I have to restart my computer until it works. Not sure if it's the adapter or my computer but it is a solid product regardless.

The band strength of this adapter is awesome. Plug and go. I wouldn't recommend any other.

The Netgear allows me to get more use from my computer. Decrease the time for gaming and better results.

My wife uses at the bear valley visitor center and helps pick up the WiFi signal, its a huge barn, she is so happy

Tested Several different stick from diferent brands and this one is by far the most reliable, no issues no problem, always works as intended, perfect. Great work Netgear

Easy installation and if you need to increase your signal reception due to a poor internal wifi antenna then this will work for you.

Needed a way to get wireless to my desktop gaming system. PCIe was not available , so too a chance on this based on the sales person's recommendation. Works great.

Bought this item to provide wireless link between a point of sale terminal and a laptop with a master database that needs to synch in real time during product demos. Works great.

Doesn't stand out for performance but it is ok. Too big to plug directly into machine -- have to use the extender and set on an adjacent surface.

The wifi performance of my old laptop improved, significantly, however, the connection to my network seems to randomly drop. I'm looking into this further, but, when connected, it is fast.

I bought this for a family member to use on the second story of the house. It works great and they quality is there with this product. I would say it was well worth the price.

My computer sits in the living room and I'm still able to connect wirelessly as my modem sits in the basement! I haven't had any dropped connection and the speed seems to move fairly well.

I was having major issues with d/l speed. Tried three diff routers and even had the cable company come out ($75). Once I connected this and did a test, I was at least 100 mbps faster.

This small device was exactly what we needed. Now the computer we were given hooks up with our wi-fi. We have added availability to do work that is necessary.

I got this because I didn't have a wired connection for my desktop. So I bought this and it is amazing. My download speeds are great and it connects to both 2.4 and 5GHz wireless.

upload and download are okay, not as fast as a wired connection. If ya don't want to run ethernet cables around the house, this works just as good to play games/ surf the web

Bought this product as the WiFi in my home was dropping all the time. Verizon incoming signal is 1mbs and of course that drops dramatically. The computer is on second floor and away from modem. The product have helped somewhat. Less drops. Sales agent ws helpful and warmed such devices are not perfect so I took my chances that is why I have not returned..... So if you think of buying. It will help just don't expect a great improvement more like ..ok
