Works Great. Had a desktop that had a bad network card and this adapter worked great to give access to Wifi.

While it does improve signal strength, sometimes my pc does not recognize the device and and have to restart.

the Geek squad rep suggested using this on my laptop to improve in-house wifi connection - especially in my basement. Has been significantly improved with the adapter. Thanks.

Bought this item to provide wireless link between a point of sale terminal and a laptop with a master database that needs to synch in real time during product demos. Works great.

Doesn't stand out for performance but it is ok. Too big to plug directly into machine -- have to use the extender and set on an adjacent surface.

The wifi performance of my old laptop improved, significantly, however, the connection to my network seems to randomly drop. I'm looking into this further, but, when connected, it is fast.

I was having major issues with d/l speed. Tried three diff routers and even had the cable company come out ($75). Once I connected this and did a test, I was at least 100 mbps faster.

I bought this for a family member to use on the second story of the house. It works great and they quality is there with this product. I would say it was well worth the price.

My computer sits in the living room and I'm still able to connect wirelessly as my modem sits in the basement! I haven't had any dropped connection and the speed seems to move fairly well.

I got this because I didn't have a wired connection for my desktop. So I bought this and it is amazing. My download speeds are great and it connects to both 2.4 and 5GHz wireless.

Easy installation and if you need to increase your signal reception due to a poor internal wifi antenna then this will work for you.

upload and download are okay, not as fast as a wired connection. If ya don't want to run ethernet cables around the house, this works just as good to play games/ surf the web

This small device was exactly what we needed. Now the computer we were given hooks up with our wi-fi. We have added availability to do work that is necessary.

Bought this product as the WiFi in my home was dropping all the time. Verizon incoming signal is 1mbs and of course that drops dramatically. The computer is on second floor and away from modem. The product have helped somewhat. Less drops. Sales agent ws helpful and warmed such devices are not perfect so I took my chances that is why I have not returned..... So if you think of buying. It will help just don't expect a great improvement more like ..ok

It does not always connect to 5.0 when I turn on my laptop. I increased my speed on my laptop and increased it to 5.0 and I expect to connect to 5.0 all the time I turn it on. Is the component faulty?

I was hoping to purchase a wireless card but this is satisfactory. Best Buy does not carry any cards in the store and I bought this because there was nothing better that I could buy on the spot.

My wife uses at the bear valley visitor center and helps pick up the WiFi signal, its a huge barn, she is so happy

Bought this device since my built-in- wireless was malfunctioning. This device replace it, saving me money instead of buying a new computer tower for my desktop computer.

The Netgear allows me to get more use from my computer. Decrease the time for gaming and better results.
