    I needed to use my old desktop computer on the internet using wifi. Since the built in wireless card was inferior this helped tremendously. Now my aunt can access the Internet.

    Worked great, then it updated!! Hasn't worked since. I have to uninstall, then reinstall it once I find the disc that came with it. My advise...Don't ever download the update!!

    The setup failed at recognizing the adapter and a call to Netgear tech support had me uninstall Zone Alarm which was not allowing a complete set up. So far so good now that it's working
