    My son uses our old pic for Minecraft, and needed a basic internet connection, but his room doesn't have the Ethernet access.. This works just fine for him

    Overall, the wifi adapter works very well and definitely speeds up the connection on my PC. The installation software did not work with Windows 10 at all.

    My desktop network card started failing so I researched usb wifi antennas and chose the net gear. I have had good luck with netgear products.

    Most devices nowadays include a wifi receiver. But in the case of older gear you may need one of these. It works exactly as it should. I recommend it.

    Unlike some other USB wireless network adapters that have vendor-supported Linux drivers or even support within the native kernel, this product does not. There are some FOSS projects out there that are working towards supporting this but they are frankly unreliable across different distros and have a good amount of bugs. Do get this for Windows systems though.
