Great for my new pc to get connected to the internet

Great for home network or gaming . Never have any issues.

Could not get this to work on my PC, which is Windows 10. When I searched for solution, read a lot of similar complaints with many not able to connect as well. Until they correct their software, I cannot recommend for PCs with Windows 10.

I've seen a lot of really, really complicated reviews for this item. I have a much, much more simple way of expressing my experience with this item. The most important thing is that you get the latest drivers package for this item from the Netgear website. Get the drivers here: http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-adapters/a6210.aspx#tab-support Click on "support", and find the driver package that supports Windows 10. This is the latest driver and software suite. You will be asked to register for the Netgear website, but look carefully... there is a "continue without registering" option, if you choose. Install the drivers and software package. Next, plug in the item when prompted by the software install. The adapter will be found, and the "connect to wifi" screen will come up. Choose a network, put in the network password, and you will be on the Internet. It's that simple. Range is FANTASTIC. I am all the way across the house, in the basement (the router is upstairs, so I am going through the floor and at least three walls). 2.4 network is at five bars. Down speed is about 70mbps, up speed is about 10mbps. 5gHz network is at three bars, but MUCH faster. Down speed is 117mbps, up speed is still slower, at around 20mbps. But that could be my router (Asus RT-AC66U). This is an excellent product. The little stand that comes with it is really great. I don't want a huge item like this hanging from one of my USB 3.0 ports. It works, it looks nice, it is FAST, and the range is GREAT. Buy it.

Works as designed and described. Couldn't use it to project to wireless screen though. Must have missed that in the description. Had to use a PCI WiFi card from Amazon.

I had this for a few years now, since 2017 or so! It works great when it actually works! My major problem is that it always dropping the network/losing network connections every few hours and then I had to manually unplug and plug it from the USB port and then it would happen again after another hour or so. I use this on 3 of my PC and a few laptop to test out and had the same problem. I don't know if it's a defective product or driver, since I'm using the latest driver, 1.0.0.39 and with or without the Netgear genie software, it's still does the same thing.
