To be honest it sounded like what I needed, but I fixed the issue on the PC before actually using the product.

Overall product works but I feel the setup software is a bit outdated.

Works for its purpose. Plastic creaks and shifts around USB port.

This works great...when it works. This would constantly overheat and turn itself off. It wouldn't be SO bad if it would restart but it wouldn't. I hate being part way through online work and have my connection go out. I exchanged the item thinking it was defective but the 2nd one did the same thing. I returned that one too and went with an entirely different product.

Stopped working after a few weeks. Returned it. Otherwise easy set up.

Get constant errors when plugged into 3.0 usb port and when i use the holder. If i plug the device, not using the holder, into a 2.0 port, it works fine.

Speeds are ok, but not what is marketed, I only use it for my daughter's homework, but even this is to much at times, definitely not for heavy users.

As someone who's had this adapter for a few months, I feel like its some kind of life given duty to warn against this thing. For no reason at all, every forty five minutes or so this thing will just drop connection for a good three minutes, No matter what you do. Watching something with friends? Good luck. Clutching on a round of league? Have fun. It doesn't matter if you go through all your settings to fix it, and it doesn't matter if you download the new drivers netgear puts out, the issue remains persistent without any word from netgear acknowleding it despite people complaining on their forums on it. If you need an adapter PLEASE research before buying a piece of junk like this.

helpful tool. signal can be a little weak though . but if its not on your motherboard very easy xheap fix

I purchased this product for the Television in my home office. A little more depth of sound would be nice, but it's a good product for the money.

I tried 2 of these and neither worked for me. The advice the Geek squad would give as I would have to bring my computer in to them.

I have a good IT backround. I could not get this unit to connect to my wireless gateway. I do not recommend this product. I am a UVERSE subscriber.

On the packaging it claims to be a superior unit, but in fact it is no better than less costly units and does nothing to safeguard my files.

Don’t get me wrong this works just fine, but I have found some netgear models to do just as well for half the price.

I mean it is an OK product, but if I have to do this to get points every time, you can forget it. I will just shop elsewhere.

The WiFi works amazing when it works. Other times it’s fighting to stay connected.

Didnt work as I thought . It gave same performance as my WiFi card didn’t see any difference in speed

My use case for this is in a basement connecting to a router upstairs. Signal is 5 bars and connected to USB on an Asus Crosshair-V Formula-Z motherboard. Before I couldn't achieve 3 bars. Speed tests confirm that this is getting a faster speed than my previous low end wireless adapter from Netgear. Much better product and worth the extra cash if you care about speed. It is important to note that I also use a Netgear router to connect to the internet. I would recommend this for ease of use and strong antenna. The only thing I dislike is the GUI on the Netgear installer and app. I would expect a better user experience and

I really expected better range and ability to grab a signal from a router that is less than 60 feet away. Not a very stable connection
