Bought this because I was told it would help my HP desktop which is upstairs pick up a better WiFi signal. Ever since I was forced to download windows 10 my desktop has never been the same. My desktop isn’t the newest, 4 years old, but that shouldn’t matter. Did all the driver updates, tech support, etc. Helped intermittently.

Since I was using it on an older model computer, it did not work on the USB port. On a newer computer, it worked well.

Really strange how when I got this to fix a customer's desktop and get him connected to the internet I had to download the drivers and software off the website. Because the customers disc drive didn't work, and I was limited on resources and didn't have a proper cable to transfer from my galaxy via USB to his desktop at the time, it was a nightmare getting setup.

I bought this because the desktop i purchased wasnt wireless. sadly i wish i hadnt wasted my money. it took me 5 hours to get the software to download into my computer and when i did it wouldnt work. Finnally i gave up and asked a friend for help. it took him 2 hours to get the software to install properly and work but the connection is really slow and it takes forever for things to load at times. not a good buy at all.

The day after I bought this windows did their anniversary update and it stopped working. Took netgear over 6 weeks to get it fixed.

Hasn’t improved my speed from internal device. Doesn’t work as advertised.

Worked fine once I let Windows 10 use its own driver. If you use CD that came with it, Windows will freeze up at the welcome screen

Would have worked better probably if we were in a better service area but overall it was simple to set up but just too slow.

After multiple attemps, online searching and contacting support we were still unable to get this to work on our system. The software tool that came with the product could not even find it. We missed the return date because of all the running around so we had to eat the cost. Do buy if using a newer system, not worth it at all!!!

I'm not really that impressed with it. Everyday it will randomly lose connection to my internet and once in a while it will disable itself.

Not sure if I can tell that this really does much for my wifi signal, frankly.

Works good and small and handy u can use it anywhere and easy to set up

The unit I received has some issues. It flashes a notice that I am plugged into a USB 2.0 and will receive better performance if I use a 3.0. This machine has 8 USB 3.0 ports & NO USB 2.0 ports. I contacted my manufacturers Tech Support. I reloaded the USB 3.0 Drivers. Same notice. I contacted Intel. Loaded their universal 3.0 drivers. same notice. The rate of speed rivals dial up.

It is working, however the range of the product is marginal, so I may need to purchase an range extender to supplement it.

I cant say anything negative or positive about it. It works. Nothing special.

My only complaint was it's more than I wanted to pay. If it was less expensive it would have received more stars.

PLUGGED IT INTO MY DESKTOP UNIT, BUT WHILE IT DID IMPROVE THE SIGNAL RECEPTION IT WAS NOT AS EFFICIENT AS I NEEDED.

works alright, but signal was not strong enough for my project.

Okay, so I went to BestBuy and they rec. this card. I have used it for a year, and have had more problems than success with it. It is the only USB Device that will just stop being detected randomly and won’t reconnect or be re-detected for hours at a time. This all is with the NetGear application too. I would not recommend this product.

Returned the item as it did not solve my signal strength issue. I was able to move my desktop machine and all is well.
