This product is horrible especially for the price. The product was fine at first but 2 hours later it disconnected from the WiFi and kept connecting and disconnecting at random. I thought it was my computer or my WiFi but I tried it on my other computer and experience the same problem even right next to the router. I would not suggest anyone to purchase this product.

I did not get the performance I expected. My PC may have been too old.

My husband and I purchased this product so that we could get wifi on our desktop computer. However, it won't "find" it no matter how many times we follow the steps. It told us to go on-line to troubleshoot. Uh, hello... we can't without that item working! We've had the item for over a month and STILL cannot get it working (and an employee from Best Buy directed us to the correct one to buy). :(

It isn't really an adapter like I thought. It wasn't working properly on my laptop.

Constantly disables itself and re-enables itself. Will not sustain a connection long term.

We enjoy buying Netgear products, but this one did not meet our expectations. It disconnects intermittently and we constantly unplug the device to refresh the connection. We are past the return period and stuck with it. We have since packed them up and would make a strong case for return, since we purchase quite a number of them.

Its ok, it does its job but nothing special. I only purchased it out of necessity.

Recently moved into a place and didn't wanna go running wires all over the place. So I was like okay, I'll get an internet adapter. Took a good 20 mins ish, standing in front of what was on hand at the Best Buy in Otay Ranch Mall, and went with this bad boy. I followed the directions and it said specifically to install the software, which I did. Then to plug in the adapter and let the software detect it, which it didn't. But I wasn't completely dumping this thing because I saw on the bottom right hand corner of my screen that its picking up the signal and doing what it's supposed to do. I just manually connected to it by right clicking on it. Updated the drivers anyway and re-connected to it through the software. This thing is blazing fast. I haven't gamed yet, but just internet searching-no hiccups, and I just downloaded the patches to World War Z and Division 2 and completed in fast timing. I'm running windows 10 so it's definitely compatible with it. Been a few hours now and haven't had a drop in signal or anything. It comes with a nice desktop stand. About to play some games and see how it holds up. Great purchase, highly recommend it. I was going to go with the nighthawk but I figure I give this one a shot. About a 20 dollar price difference. So far, so good.

Did not work on my older equipment, software won't work on usb2. Had to return and get ac600 adaptor

It’s ok. I also use it to pick my nose. So, it does too jobs.

I couldn't get it to work on a Win10 PC. Win7 was plug n play.

This didnt help with the wifi signal. Computer still losses wifi connection.

Despite the cost this adapter has extremely poor WiFi speeds, on both 2.4gHz and 5.0gHz bands. Even with the drivers, and lots of troubleshooting, the WiFi signal mimics that of a $10 adapter. Do not waste the extra money, its 100% marketing

Not a good product. Bulky. Did not work correctly.

Will not work if you don't have windows Vista or above cannot even install to update.

I'm sure this works well for most people, however, it did not meet my expectations.

Maybe the wireless adapter is not compatible with cable modem router. May return for exchange

Doesn't stop the lag for gaming it's really a waste of money
