This thing burned out on after a month and a half of use. Stick with PCI WiFi cards people this isn't worth it.

Tried many times but I never could get this device to function right! So I returned it for full credit from Best Buy's excellent return policy!

I bought this because the Wi-Fi on my computer not no longer worked. It lasted about six weeks and didn't work either.

My modem s Ethernet ports blew out during a storm the other night, so I had no internet. Wifi sucked in my house, but we recently upgraded to better wifi, so I tried wifi on my computer. This little usb 3.0 works like a charm. All I had to do was plug it in to my desktop and boom I have wifi. It's seems just as good as Ethernet did. No downloading of drivers or using the cd that comes with it. The easiest thing I've done with wifi ever. I have Windows 10.

I purchased this unit to replace a small USB wifi dongle i was using that was a step over dial-up at best. The distance from my media center computer to my wireless router is 50 feet at best but was a challenge with average download speeds of 3-5 mbps. After installing the unit (via internet since i don't have a cd-rom) and a QUICK install might I add...my computer (running win 7) is averaging 40-50 mbps download speed (I have 75 mbps plan from comcast). Very well worth it and I highly recommend. I have to add I'm using a Netgear N900 router and they work as expected...GREAT !!!! Just think I'm running a USB 2.0 in my computer it could even be faster should i upgrade to 3.0.
