Frankly it did wonders for me when it came with my Cyber-core computer, it up held for a couple years, it will last you a long time if you don't mange to ruin it like i did - Don't connect the 3.0 adapter for it if you're PC doesn't need it - Don't leave it around if you're taking it around, It breaks pretty easily from my experience - Check if all you're Computer is up to date and has its ports functioning, mine doesn't have all its ports working so it ruined it more making it work alot slower Avoid these mistakes i did and you wont have problems with using this baby Its great for those who move over to other Computers, its about 1/4th of the size of a average phone making it simple to take around in a bag (I wouldn't recommend carrying it in you're pockets as it can break)

The descriptions says it works with Windows, but it does not work with Windows 10. After installing the driver for the wireless adapter, every time I restarted or shut down my computer Windows 10 would not load, and I had to spend 15-20 minutes to do a system restore to a restore point before the driver was installed. I also made sure it was the driver by doing the following: 1. I restarted my laptop and did a system restore. 2. Without doing anything else, I restarted my laptop again and made sure it could restart correctly. 3. I then only installed the driver, without taking any other actions such as trying to open the internet browser. 4. I restarted my laptop, and (ugh!) I had to do a system restore to get Windows 10 to load. Bottom-line: Unless you consider having to spend 15-20 minutes after each restart or shut down to do a system restore as "working", then you will not consider this product as working with Windows 10.

Works great for my desktop...now I have WiFi on it

Works well once installed. The instructions recommend using the installation software for installation, and as a last resort to install using WPA pairing... 45 minutes of failed software installation, was followed by a 3 minutes installation using WPA pairing.

At first I was super satisfied with the product. For about 4-5 days it worked fantastic paired with a Netgear modem. I went from 6mbps download to around 100, BUT all of a sudden while downloading a game It dropped to 20-50kbps. Then it went even further and the connection dropped completely. I searched and searched the forums and tried about 5 different solutions and none of them worked. After hours of trouble shooting it was just easier for me to return the product and exchange it for a linksys version which I have not had a problem with yet.

Bought this for my old Dell laptop to use as wifi connectivity back in 2014. Unfortunately, the computer toasted on me not too long ago. Bought a new one, but I still keep this around just in case the built in wifi card acts up.

Short and sweet! Needed to rearrange router to another part of house. This adapter picks up signal and provides full internet bandwidth excellently.

October 8th of 2015 i built a gaming PC for my own use, which i got the adapter for. Once in a while i would disconnect randomly. Now I can't connect at all with the adapter to my wifi. I wouldn't recommend this for someone with a high demand for internet almost all day everyday. I have an office in a guest house in back of our home and our modem is way up front in the main house... Thanks to this gadget I can work wireless all the way in the back...

This is perfect. I never lose wifi signal when using it. Sometimes I actually end up hooking it up to my laptop just to get a better signal when I'm not at home.

This is the revision of the A6200. I had the A6200 as well and it died with a few hours of use. The A6210 has worked for about 2 years now.

It saved the day when my Wi-Fi function stopped working on my computer, I was able to use this and continue my work until I found a better solution

I had purchased this product due to its "Netgear" reputation. Following all the directions to the "T" the speeds were ridiculously slow at 5g and slow at 2.4g. My router/modem was tested by my internet provider and all was good. Removed adapter from 3.0 usb port, disabled in device manager and engaged internal wireless card and the speeds were much faster and consistent than with the nighthawk. Spent over one hour on the phone continuously transferred from one tech to another and gave up when the last tech said it was going to be another hour. Went to the Netgear community site and had no success there as with the emails from Netgear. Returned item after three days and bought a Linksys adapter, smiling now.
