Customers frequently mention the ease of use, strong WiFi performance, and reliable signal strength as significant advantages. Many appreciate the adapter's good range and relatively easy installation process. While some users noted the small size of the adapter, others reported occasional software issues. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs the negative comments.

I bought this adapter for my new computer and for a couple months it was fine. But every time I would turn my computer off for an extended period of time it would stop working and I would have to unplug it and the plug it back in. Then about 4 months after I got it I turned my computer off for awhile and when I turned it back on I the adapter didn’t work. I tried for a week to get it working and ended up buying a adapter.(side not Netgear only has coustomer support for 90 days and after that they won’t help you)

I purchased this item to speed up my Wi-Fi in June/16. I got a notice from Netgear that my three month service was up and I had to purchase support. My device would drop the connection almost daily and I could not get help from Netgear. I tried to install the updates but when I did the A6210 could not be found. Re-installing the original program did not help. I'm stuck with a $60 paperweight!!! Unit is totally useless. I'll be returning the device to BestBuy today

Great...for a Few Months

The Netgear A6210 was a fantastic device for the first few months, and then after a software update from Netgear, my pc would no longer recognize the device. Virtually no advice/response from Netgear, and no updates to resolve problem. I have been unable to find any proof that they have even acknowledged the issue. Very, very frustrated. I am on BestBuy now looking for a new device and decided a negative review was in order. Don't waste your hard-earned money.

This item was recommended in the store. I got it home and tried to use the resource cd, it locked when it tried to get updates. Went to http://support.netgear.com and downloaded software. Not an auto run, had to unzip files, then install them. Install stopped when software said to connect the adapter. 2 calls for overseas help, 2 hours invested for the last representative to tell me to return the item.

Not much more to say, except the installation software was a real pain, it took a long time even until I got to the point where it would not recognize when the adapter was inserted. This was the newest driver, downloaded from the balky website. Overall, a very bad experience.

I used this device for a couple days and it worked great. Then I go on one day. I join an online game and I am about halfway through it. I hear a sound and I get disconnected. I try unplugging everything and nothing works.

Windows 10 recognizes the adaptor. The Netgear drivers do not. Install/uninstall, install/uninstall, install/uninstall. The drivers are not fit for public consumption. Netgear is not supporting this device on Windows 10, apparently.

Worked fine at first. Fine, not great. Then it just became intermittent. It would stop being recognized by any USB after a few minutes. Then it started working but would gradually get slower.
It looks great in the trash, though.

Poor performance

First, this was very had to install on my Dell with Windows 10. I eventually had to use a Mediatek driver since the Netgear driver would not work. Then the performance was worse than by Dell b/g/n driver.

Install wasn't as easy as indicated. Never worked. I tried a dozen different times and the network adapter was never recognized for my Window 10, Dell Precision M4800 Laptop.

It would not stop crashing my computer from the driver installation. This should be taken off the market and never sold anywhere again. DO NOT BUY THIS.

It just drops connection. I have stupidly high ping. I wouldn't recommend this. Just get a PCIE Card. A really good is like 80 bucks.

Caused BSOD for no reason. Must be a driver or compatibility issue
