    I brought my new desktop PC home after the Geek Squad got rid of a virus, but didn't fix anything else. I hooked up the new router, followed directions (not very good directions) and it would not connect to the internet through my pc. I tried every way, wireless, direct connection, tested the cable, etc. Nothing. I plugged my old "outdated" router back in and bingo, it hooked right up. The new router talked to my laptop, but no connection to the internet. I am returning it, and may replace it, if someone can help me figure out what went wrong.
