The router seemed to work well but I was having modem issues at the time. So I traded them both in for a combo unit. When our modem had a signal the router worked fine though.

This product was purchased to get better reception from the back of our house to the other side . Don't know if it would work any better else were, but seems to do the job.

Runs great once you set it up. Poor documentation, does not explain what the indicator lights mean. It took numerous reboots for a hard line connection to work.

Just didn't have the range we needed. Lasted us a good two years and we decided to get the Eero and it is working great. Works well for close proximity

After 5 years with my old rounter I figured it was time to upgrade. I decided on the NETGEAR ac1600 and was very disapointed. I couldn't tell a difference in speed at all and was having to refresh the network 2-3 times daily. After two weeks I finally had enough and took it back! Ended up getting the Google OnHub and can tell a major difference! Wouldn't recommend.

This is supposed to be able to be used for large areas. I do not have a big house and I have only 1 bar on the signal in most parts of my house.

Purchased this router to replace another brand, with high expectations. After a week I received notification of a security issue on this model and others, with a link to a patch. However, before the patch was received, my network had been compromised. The patch is now installed, but still not assured of security of the network.

The router itself is beautiful looking. The setup is as easy as any other router in the market. The GUI is simple and very easy to conquer. Is it worth $170? NO WAY! The 2.4 GHz connection works great but the reason why I bought this router was for the 5 Ghz capability... That DOESN'T WORK. Sure, you see it but when you try to connect to it, you can't. Don't know why. For The money you can buy 4 regular routers. I feel robbed.

This router was very easy to setup and has a pretty memorable pre-set password if you did what to leave it as that. My 2 roommates and I can all be streaming at the same time and we don't have any lag. Please keep in mind I do get 60mbps from charter. This router does a great job of keeping up with the charter high speed internet. Also has great range, I live in a brick home and I have no problem getting signal from 4 or 5 houses down the road.

I would not recommend the Netgear AC1600 router. We were advised by the sales rep at BB that it would be perfect for streaming and has the capability to handle several devices. We loose 70% of the speed from the router to the TV which is 1 room away. Not happy with this routers performance.

This is another great Dell product. Other than being useless in a large home. It's great for apartment dwellers.
