I bought this to replace my old one. It kept dropping my internet signal. This new one hasn't dropped the signal at all and it is also faster then the old one.

This router works well for the smaller size home. If you have a large home or multiple levels, you might want to upgrade or use multiple routers.

Bought this to replace an older Netgear. Excellent coverage throughout our three story home. No need for an extender.

This is an Excellent product and act as wifi dual band Speed booster with al lot of control on you palm via nighthawk app.

.... with one exception --- after a friend installed it for me (I am NOT computer literate by any stretch of the imagination --- it's technical --- I got the msg. thru the Nighthawk app on my phone that there was an router update available. I tried at least 6 times to update --- it would not update. I finally googled the problem/found that many others had same complaint/then some brilliant soul explained how to update thru my Mac laptop. I followed those directions, and the update went thru faultlessly!

Easy to set up, works very well in a largely unattended environment. Reliable wired and Wi-fi connections

I initially purchased a competitor brand which is supposedly more feature filled. There is a functional limitation which I found odd in that product. I switched to the NetGear AC1750 router and I can say it is working as expected. I am able to use the 5G signal even when I am about 10 feet away from it unlike the other brand. The firmware and software is generally easy to configure and response is better. I purchased this to replace the Panoramic router provided by the internet service provider because it is not able to deliver what is promised as per my experience.

I was using an old small router and my wifi speed was bad. When I installed NETGEAR - Wireless-AC1750 Dual-Band Gigabit Router my speed increased significantly.

Easy initial setup. Saw good change in speed from prior older netgear router. When power was lost it somehow reverted to initial password and it is difficult to reset

Bought this to repace my daughter's old router that couldn't handle her dvr and phone at the same time. Much faster, much better than her 2011 router

Works as it should, i would by again if i had too. Better then cox stuff they charge you for every month

Found it easy to set up and connect to the modem. Coverage area is better than with the old router but connection drops now and then.

This seems like a good router. The only complaint I have is when you reset it, it takes a few minutes for you to connect to the internet. My previous router would connect instantly.
